Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Farmington

My mother and sister stopped here Sunday 9/4/22 on their way back home. My sister was driving and choked on whatever this is; this looks like hair tangled up, mucus mixed with the cherry stem/strawberry chunks. There was no need for any Cherries, stems or any extra items to be in that cup; She ordered a Large Big Red soda. Whatever particles that were in this cup is disgusting! This is highly unsanitary! I will be making a report to the State to conduct a proper inspection.

The biggest concern is the fact that she was driving while she choked on this. She swerved off the road going at full speed that could’ve caused a fatal accident, killing herself, my mother, my niece and nephew all because of their negligence.

This is definitely uncalled for and the fact that my mother called that day to complain to the person in “charge” didn’t care to apologize! He pushed it off to the supervisor that was going to be there the following day to handle this situation. There was no accountability, responsibility or empathy from this individual. This is the behavior of the person who is trusted and in charge to watch over this establishment. There is no need to reach out to the supervisor. Clearly they are lacking professionalism and service etiquette.

I would not trust this location ever and would strongly reconsider stopping at another Sonic...

If I could choose a group of civilians to participate in the Hunger Games, I would pick the incompetent employees of 3820 East Main Sonic Farmington New Mexico 87402. Since the incompetent employees I speak of includes the entire staff at this location, it would inevitably have to be permanently closed...forever. this wouldn't be sad. It would just raise the average I.Q of humanity. I simply asked for a medium master shake specifically the oreo peanutbutter shake. To which the response was " One oreo cheese cake shake?" To which I replied "No an oreo peanutbutter shake please." Said employee responded with "sorry I cannot put reeses chunks in your shake." That's ok because that's not what I am ordering. My rather reasonable response "No if you look on your menu under hand mixed master shakes you will see an oreo peanutbutter shake." "OH ok one oreo peanutbutter shake." Replied the brainless employee. As I came to the window filled with joy and excitement for my oreo peanutbutter shake as promised I was greeted with cold words "I have one oreo cheesecake shake add peanutbutter." Left the employees thoughtless head. In awe and shock I accepted defeat knowing the simple task of completing my order correctly was much too difficult for this store. Ordered a limeaid on the app at 7pm. Arrived 5 min later and tried to check in 10 times on the app... No go. So, pushed the button and it flashed for 5 min so I thought it might be defective. I went to another car port and pushed the button there and after 2 min a lady came on and emphatically she would be "with me in a few minutes". I waited. In the meantime a car hop came out and went to chat with the car next to me for 5 min, she had no food with her. I waited. Finally, the same lady came on the speaker (I've been there 15-20 by now) and I told her my name. She said, your order will be out when it's filled." I waited ANOTHER 15 min until it arrived.
