Edit: After taking my phone in they reconsidered and made it right. I will say that was awesome of the mind, so I will re-review and give give a 5 star. I had a cracked screen, phone worked great, screen was still clear as could be, but it bugged my wife so we took it in to replace the screen, ended up having to replace the back as well, but that was discussed prior to the service. The tech took my phone to the back, brought it back to me and mentioned what needed to be replaced. I payed half up front.... half when I dropped the phone off for service. I worked on my truck that day, listened to music on my phone the entire time....then brought the phone the the CPR place, dropped it off, sat outside in my pickup for 1 hour and a half, went back in, and paid for the phone service and parts, and then the tech said my speaker sounded like it was going out....I said ok paid no attention to it....got home and made a phone call and the speaker was horrible, crackled, fuzzed, I couldn't hear anything out of it at all. sounded like it was underwater. So I called and talked to the general manager cause he was the one who happened to answer the phone, and even he tried to blow smoke up my....and say the same thing...when I asked to speak to the owner I was told to e-mail him because he hardly ever comes to the shop and they don't know how to get ahold of him. Anyway, when a tech breaks something that wasn't broken before they should fix it with no arguments, no finger pointing...I made a phonecall on my speaker phone right in front of their camera as well, so if they wanted to just look they would see.....and having said that....they should fire the tech who...
Read moreWe’ve relied on CPR for many device repairs over the years. Our company manages over 150 devices, and we’ve trusted CPR numerous times for service. Unfortunately, our most recent experience was extremely disappointing.
We had a phone repaired, and within just a few hours—not days or weeks—it began malfunctioning again. When we returned the device and asked for the repair to be covered under warranty, CPR refused. They claimed the phone had been dropped and even stated they no longer wanted our business. We paid $200 for that repair, and the device had not been dropped.
As someone in the service industry myself, I understand the importance of making a profit, but I also believe strongly in standing behind your work. This experience falls far short of the professionalism and accountability we expect from a service provider.
If you read through other negative reviews, this appears to be a recurring issue with the owner. Rather than taking responsibility and making it right, the response often focuses on justifying why the warranty isn’t honored.
It’s unusual for me to leave a negative review—I’m typically very understanding, especially since we serve the same community—but this situation is unacceptable. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend CPR; they did not stand...
Read moreThis business is not entirely forthcoming. We were first told one price for OEM screen, we then were charged the same price for non Apple screen. If you need your screen replaced and don't have a lot of money to spend I would order a screen online and use YouTube to save money. If you decide to go the CPR route make sure you get your original quote in writing before proceeding with their services...never again, LESSON LEARNED!!! Fool me once...
Update I seen your reply and that is a bold face lie. When we went to the store I was quoted $169 plus tax for non Apple screen which you explained would always have an error message because it was not factory. Then your employee quoted me an OEM Apple screen for just over $200. A few weeks later we took it in and discussed getting an Apple screen put in and was charged $205. We then have an error message appear and realized it was not an Apple screen. I then called your establishment and someone said "oh our prices went up" and " the employee must've relayed bad information". In the end your employees need to be advised, daily apparently, about the prices of...
