Without a doubt I am giving these T.J Maxx Team members and their store a big 5 and if it allowed me I would give them a lot more. I travel to Farmington NM quite often, this weekend I decided to spend Halloween up this way with my teen daughter We had had a late dinner but as always wanted to visit T.J. Maxx. When we got to the parking lot it was close to 9pm and hardly any other cars were around we thought we were out of luck. My daughter checked their website and we found they didn't close till 10pm. We were excited and immediately headed in. We we're welcomed by the cashier with a cheerful voice. We had an hour so we headed to the isle's. It was easy to find exactly what we were looking for as the floor personal were obviously doing a great job straightening things out after a busy Sunday and coordinating everything very well by size, color and dept. Throughout the store. It took us 15 minutes to find a pile of clothes and other items we were there for. We headed to the fitting room and we're also greeted by a very friendly, cheerful and kind Xiana, who not only tended to us but was noticably keeping a customers little boy entertained with play and conversation while also putting things away. I also appreciated the fact that someone was announcing closing time every 15 minutes which helped a great deal. When we got to the cashier who's name is Sela she also greeted us in a very welcoming way asking us if we had found everything okay and thanking us for taking the hangers off the pile of clothes we had picked out and making it to the registers on time before closing. She also apologized if we didn't find every item on our list, as she mentioned being short staffed. I was pretty surprised to hear that because my daughter agreed that the store was not only so clean extremely organized and well kept but as always full of great merchandise. Something we don't see often back home. I was happy to tell her we aways enjoy this store for the great quality and amazing service regardless of what time we shopped. We truly want to appreciate everyone who makes it happen here, because all though it was late and staff was probably tired everyone was still willing to ensure great service was giving to us. Read moreI have been a regular customer of this TJMaxx store in Farmington in New Mexico. It is about a 35-minute drive from Durango, Colorado where I live, but I always love the long scenic drive from Durango to Farmington. One beautiful day, an awful experience happened in this particular TJ MAxx store. There was this incubus terrible cashier with a loud voice who was working at cashier or register N0.2 assisted me that day. She’s one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had nonetheless. I have politely asked her if she could break my $5 bill and she refused, knowing that I already bought a lot of items that day and paid. They could have easily checked using their bill machine reader if my $5 bill was legitimate. I told her that they always allowed me to get some change everytime I come to visit and shop....And she just gave me an attitude with her visibly annoyed loud voice. I looked at her incredulously and I couldn't believe the sheer audacity of her attitude, she just showed me that day. It was straight from out of some awful racist movie…Obviously, she was very inconsiderate and I can sense that she didn't have a critical thinking ability. She was so presumptuous. Her rudeness to me was not only offensive but was noticed by other customers and employees ( Who seemed complicit and stoic) whom I imagine she’s supposed to be modeling behavior for. I thought to myself I love this store and I shopped here regularly for years and I am not going to let some idiot cashier to destroy that. So I’ll just nodded politely with disappointment. The management might want to re-evaluate who they put in cashier/customer service because with that relatively tall, heavy set sarcastic woman with a capital B personality to match? I think they're false advertising any sense of excellence. They should bring back the previous manager Maria. She was very nice and absolutely has an excellent customer...
Read moreLove tj maxx, bought my items and when I came back home I realized the lady didn’t give me one of my bags. I called the next day and the person on the phone said I just have to ask for it and describe it then they would give it to me. (There’s only two items in this bag). My husband went there later on that day and they told him the person who checked us out put away the items so he had to search the store to find them again and sadly only found one. Then they proceeded to give him a refund on the last item that he couldn’t find and when he complained about the items being sent back the manager said she would talk to the person and offered the credit card to save money…
I understand mess ups happen but why put away items that were already bought. Then try to play it off like it was the customer’s fault and make the customer hunt for them ?? Come...
