Weeks ago, while walking in Elizabeth Park, I encountered the owner, her friend, and a couple children. She recognized and greeted me, this after I had not seen her or shopped in her store since well before COVID. I was so touched, and had just experienced a family death, followed by a family medical and surgical emergency. She not only heard me with kindness on her face and in her heart, she invited me to stop by her shop for a free drink when I returned from singing at the funeral. Because of that interchange, when I was thinking of what to give as a housewarming gift, her kindness, her store, and her offer were in my consciousness. I went today, and she remembered our conversation, and that I sang at the funeral. I know because she asked me how it went. The world needs more people like her. Please visit the store for the amazing teas, the great service, and because the owner is so awesome.

I had first visited The Green Teahouse several years back at their original location at Westfarms, and always remembered them being good. On a recent trip to the mall, my family and I stopped by to pick up some teas and share a mooncake! The new space was beautiful, and I love that they freshly brew all of their loose leaf teas. It was nice to see that no artificial powders are used here! We really enjoyed the strawberry truffle and blackberry oolong bubble teas, and my dad loved his hot apple pie chai tea as well. The staff was so friendly and welcoming! I would definitely come back whether it’s for a tea to drink right away, or to bring a back of loose leaf tea home for myself or as a gift!

Was up at the westfarms mall and was jones'in for a boba tea when me & co came across TGT... This is a really chic feeling little teahouse that specializes in all varieties of loose teas w an extensive selection and home brewing options. They even have samples of unique regional blends from all over the world. So you know they know their stuff. Ordered this berry combo tea which not only tasted phenomenal but really stood out making for a great photo op for social platforms! They are a little on the pricey side buy worth it imho. The teas are high quality and the moon cakes on display looked so good I am definitely coming back to try one soon! Def recommend 👌

I've been coming here since I moved to the area four years ago. Ting, the owner, is sweet as could be and extremely knowledgable. She is informative about the nuances, aromas, flavors, history, and origins of all the different teas she carries in her beautiful tea shop. There is a huge variety of loose leaf available that you can purchase from 1oz and up.

There are a ton of different teas for people to smell and several prepared in pots for sampling. Surely there is something for every tea lover here. Also, they carry lovely teapot sets on sale as well as infusers, strainers, tea travel mugs (on my wishlist!), tea to-go, and variety packs to try different kinds at home. The store is set up in a way that makes it easy for people to walk around and explore the wide variety of teas that they have.

Recently I picked up the Strawberry Slim Pu-erh (which I absolutely love), Malasa Chai, Dragonfruit (a blend of green and black with hint of fruitness), Passionfruit Jasmine, and a traditional Chinese Oolong tea that has flowery orchid-like taste. All of them have been excellent. I am drinking the Passionfruit Jasmine as I type this up. After having tea from here it is difficult to return to bagged teas from the grocery store. If you like tea, you definitely want to check...

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God" (Matthew 5:8). What a amazing place!!! Yes I feel the love in this place. Call it God's Tea House. I have come here once before but I use to go to it when it was in blue black square. There are so many wonderful teas to choose from and so it took me a little while to choose. Sabrina who works there is like a little munchkin of the Lord ushering everyone in and offering them tea. She helped me find and decide on a tea and guided me on the type of sugar and the choices. I wanted to have it all but this will leave room for next time. I am grateful this place is open and it serves the community by nourishing their bodies, spirit and mind. If you come here you won't regret it. Your taste buds will rejoice and mine sang Praise God over and over again. I will continue to come back when I'm around as I live a bit from the The Green TeaHouse. Trust me it's the best tea shop around to get ready made teas. Thank you Sabrina and all the beautiful people who work there!!! Much gratitude for your work and devotion. May we rejoice and play as small children and drink tea from The Green Tea...

I rarely fall in love with new businesses in the area, but the Green Teahouse has blown me away and captured my heart. Everything from the feel of the place as you first step over the threshold, the tea that they serve, and the incredible staff is beyond reproach. The atmosphere is sacred, and you feel peace descend upon you from the moment you enter. Each experience I've had there, even when the place has been crowded, has been beautiful.

There are several teas I've discovered that I've bought in large quantities and can't get enough of. The staff is also well trained by the owner who has an intuitive sense for matching people to teas. The first one she selected for me-the raspberry pu-erh- is an enduring favorite. That said, each and every blend she has suggested finds its way into a regular rotation in my house.

The blends are delightful and flavorful. My kids each have their favorites as well and often beg to visit after school gets out. The tea is very well priced and I look forward to being a loyal customer for years to come. Thank you for finding your way to...
