Yesterday, I was abused more heavily than I ever have been in my whole life of 40 years at any restaurant
It started out with laziness, as a manager named Lauren (unsure of the spelling because she refused to give more information) simply refused to salt my nuggets like French fries, something simple and easy that this and other Wendy's locations have done for me 70+ times
Her attitude was awful just in this interaction, enough that I already planned to call corporate, but the end was far worse than the beginning
I went back because a loved one had ordered food also, and I was told there was no order by the same horrible manager
After over 30 minutes trying to reach my loved one she sent me a screenshot, and when I showed it to Lauren she had a nasty attitude again and did not apologize at all for my 30+ minutes of time because she simply lied and said there were no orders
I asked for a strawberry lemonade while waiting because I was thirsty after waiting around so long, not to mention my food I didn't finish eating back at my loved one's house getting cold
She ignored me, or maybe she was on drugs and spaced out, I don't know, but after staring at her and the young gentleman for 30 seconds or so and her not responding at all she walked away, he asked what size I would like, I told him and he started to get it and she said don't give him anything
This would have been bad enough, not only did she make nasty comments at me repeatedly, she intentionally did not include the coupon book or French fries that my loved one ordered so that I would have to come back, and when we came back and were waiting in the drive through window the police arrived, having been told lies
I wish to speak to the owner of this franchise or someone with power at corporate to immediately terminate this horrible woman and bar her from employment at any Wendy's for life, and to remove the trespass order that was filed by this horrible person as retaliation when I said I would talk to the store manager, which she laughed at
If this person is not fired and the trespass order that she put in quickly revoked, I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau, leaving one star reviews everywhere with this story, contacting corporate, and anything else I can do to take business away from this location...
Read moreThis morning, had a “last straw” moment with Wendy's in Farragut. Have experienced slow service and non-fresh food in the past. This morning, at 11:10 am, pulled into the drive thru for early lunch…4th car in line. After sitting in this line for five minutes with no movement, decided to park and go inside. First, checked their website to make sure they were open. Yep, they were. Go to the door to go in to find it locked. Then I hear someone on the speaker in the drive thru talking to the customer at the drive thru order location. So, I got back in my vehicle and get back in line. The one car that ordered proceeded forward. So, I’m thinking PROGRESS. Then, the next car in line goes a few minutes with no one taking his order. About that time, a Wendy’s employee exits their car and comes to the door. Someone inside opens the door for him. I’m thinking they must have forgotten to open the door. Since no one was taking the order for the guy next in line at the drive thru, I decided to park (one again) and go in. But, when I got to the door, I discovered the employee had locked it again. That was the last straw. I got in my vehicle and went to McDonslds…where I got fast service and fresh food. Bottom line, this Wendy’s location is poorly managed. Read moreUsually I have no issues at this Wendy’s. The last time I went the drive-through cashier was so unnecessarily rude. I ordered two chicken butter biscuits, two potatoes, a sausage biscuit and a chicken butter biscuit meal.
The first time we went through she forgot to ring up our potatoes but that was OK, mistakes happen. We got our potatoes and went on our way.
When we got to our destinations we realized they didn’t put any chicken on our biscuits. I called and the same cashier answered. I told her she forgot to put chicken on our biscuits and she immediately got upset and told me we ordered butter biscuits not chicken butter biscuits. I know that’s not true because there’s no such thing as a butter biscuit meal and one of my chicken biscuits were in a meal. There was no way to confirm this as she didn’t give us a receipt. I asked for a refund and she said sure you can get a refund and hung up.
I assumed This was a accident but she made it clear that it wasn’t. She told me I had to come back to get the refund. I asked her her name and she told me she doesn’t have to give me her name then once again hung up.
It’s one thing to make an honest mistake but her attitude was completely unnecessary and...
