This business has a parking lot that looks like it's shared with Eds tire. I had to get work done on my work van and when it was done I had to pick it up and start working so I left my personal vehicle in the parking lot. Where I parked was closer to Eds tire than it was BBQ Hut. I dont even understand why he has a parking lot that big when he will never have that many customers. Anyway, I couldn't come pick my car up until the next day and he decided to have my car towed just to be evil. My car wasn't bothering anybody or blocking anybody from parking, and you can tell that somebody thought it was eds tire parking. I had to pay $175 to get my car out and he doesn't have to pay anything to get your car towed, they have a contract with a towing company. I recommend nobody park here and give this man business because he is an angry man and is staff is very rude as well. I have ate here before and trust me, its...
Read moreSouthern hospitality and BBQ at it's best. Everything was delicious and the BBQ was a little more on the sour side (North Carolina thing I suppose) The fried chicken was mint, potato salad, cold slaw and fried okra had a homemade taste. Really sucks I didn't get to try the desserts. They didn't have time to make it and I was leaving the next day. Fried pork chops were yummy and huge. All the good food was very affordable.
Worth every penny. Definitely a must try. Everyone there was sweet and accommodating.
The ambiance was very warm and country inside but the surrounding area is very iffy. Some tattooed up kid who looked like he was high was riding a bike staring as if he wanted to try something in the parking lot. I don't know this neighborhood personally but coming from NYC, we're very wary about our environments. This kid was definitely...
Read moreWent on a Thursday and got the Thursday special which are ribs. If you get the standard special it comes with ribs, macaroni and cheese, hush puppies, and collard greens. For the price it was a decent amount of food. In regard to the food, the ribs and mac and cheese could have had a tad bit more seasoning, the greens however, were seasoned perfectly. Taking into consideration that everyone makes their ribs differently, I am used to ribs that have been baked with a heavy glaze on, these ribs seem to be maybe parboiled and then barbecue sauce poured on afterwards. Again not bad but not what I'm accustomed. Will be going back again to try there Wednesday special which is the sirloin or hamburger steak, can't wait...
