Candy Craze — Restaurant in Fayetteville

My family and I just left the northwest Arkansas mall in Fayetteville. 02/20/16 at about 14:30 we walked in to your store. My children picked up the little Chinese take out boxes and we began to fill them. We bought $20 worth of candy and my son picked up a piece of candy that was sitting on top of a bin, not INSIDE one, on top OF ONE! Your cashier then yelled at him. He told him he would have to dispose of all of the candy because he stuck his hand in the bin. My child did NOT stick his hand INSIDE the bin, it was a chocolate covered pretzel candy on top of a sixlets bin that someone else had sat there. My husband asked your cashier to apologize to our son for making him cry and your cashier raised his voice at my husband, granted my husband raised his back and shouldn't have, then your employee threatened to have security called. I am sending this email in hopes that you will better screen your employees and to let you know if that is the kind of employees you keep, we will not be back. My kid's and I can't get enough of this place as we visit it sparingly to keep it as a "special treat" instead of a necessity for sweets. I personally love their sugar free items but wish they were able to purchase more than the selective few available. Depending on their mood or season, the girls and/or boyz switch up flavors for uniqueness or have something different. Michelle is a delight and always makes everyone that visits feel at ease plus worth making the effort to purchase items. I came to visit here after not being in AR for 10 years. This location was my first ever real job and I was wrongfully terminated due to what they claimed was a clearing of house because they couldn’t pin point the source of who was stealing from the store and why inventory was showing up short. Welp, sorry but as I walked in today, to my surprise the person in charge of my firing and the incorrect inventory is STILL working there.
