JCPenney — Local services in Fayetteville

I would give 4 stars, but I asked a worker in shoe dept about the sale of BOGO HALF OFF, I can read what the sign says bc I read it to her bc she didn't know which sale I was asking about. She tells me that it will let me know if it's the sale price or not when we check out!!! Really????? I'm smart enough to know that when it is rang up at register it will tell me if they are part of that sale or not, but I wanted to know BEFORE GOING UP TO THE CHECK OUT REGISTER!! And they only had 4 registers open and lines of people waiting.... yet 15 sales workers standing around chatting with each other!! And only one check out area had 2 registers open, the others only had one register open although there were 2 registers at each check out location and as stated above SEVERAL SALES PEOPLE JUST STANDING TALKING TO EACH OTHER, DIDN'T SEEM TO WANT TO HELP CHECK SOMEONE OUT! Maybe rethink customer service options so customers don't have to wait in long lines for long periods of time! Just a suggestion...

Went in to have my ring repaired. I have had the ring for a couple years but when my mom purchased the lifetime protection plan they never told her that if the repair exceeds the amount of the jewelry then they can only offer a buy out. A lady I had talked to on the phone about it was very disrespectful and laughed at me. Then a few days later Rachel a very sweet lady offered to help me and told me she would let them know to refund me the protection plan even tho they don’t usually do that. I appreciated her assistance and went in to go get my ring. When I arrived the same lady who had a horrible attitude was there to help me with the refund. They ended up saying all they could do was put it on a JCPenny’s card. I was upset due to the fact I was told I could get the money back so that I could go have it fixed somewhere else. I am not pleased with this company and won’t be shopping here...

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER WITNESSED IN MY LIFE. went up to the counter in the women’s section with my girl friend lady at the front with a little bit of a russain accent kept eying me down even befor we walked up to the counter then was eyeing my girlfriend up and down as we walked up to the counter she didn’t say a word i put the pants on the counter then she proceeded to look at me and my girlfriend up and down as she was charging me making us feel very uncomfortable then she put the pants in the bag and proceeded to once agin give us a very unpleasant stair down i grabbed the pants and walked way after paying and said you have a nice day said nothing back and once agin looked at us up and down agin liked this jcpenney but never going...
