I honestly wish I could have zero stars however the site does not allow it. After they got my order wrong 3 months ago I decided to give them another shot tonight. I ordered my food which came out to be $51 dollars and some change. I asked the sweet lady at the window if she could repeat the order to make sure it was correct. After confirming the order I proceeded to pay and also left a tip for the young lady at the window. I skimmed thru the food real quick and headed home. When I got home I realized I didn’t get 80% of my order and I also got someone else’s. I immediately called the store to speak to a manager. I called three times , no one answered, all three of the calls were ended after ringing a couple times. So I went back to Cookout to speak to a manager face to face. The young man that I spoke with was extremely polite and reassuring that the problem will be handled and I would have my food. After waiting about 5 to 8 minutes the rest of my food was brought out so immediately I checked the food. To my disappointment I was still missing some food. I will never order from this Cookout again. This is completely unacceptable! I am a manager in the food industry as well so I understand how things can get complicated and stressful from time to time. However something...
Read moreI will never go here again! Went there last week and when I laid I handed the cashier my debit card, I herd the lady standing beside her say "did she pay? " she shrugs her shoulders then she proceeded to swipe my card. Then looks at me and says Oh it didn't go thru let me try again, and swipes again. I wondered what they were talking about and when I left I checked my bank statements and guess what. ..I paid for the person in front of me food! That's when I realized what they were talking about and what happened. She forgot to take payment from person in front of me so she decided to charge me for it as well as my food so her drawer didn't come up short. Total BS! Now I've been trying to call for over a week since I live too far to just drive up there and cuss someone out until they refund my money and no one has returned my calls. The store number always gives a busy signal and corporate sent me to a voicemail and they haven't called back. This place was a rip off. Not to mention my food was cold and tasted like it was sitting out...
Read moreI pulled up to Cookout craving one thing and one thing only: a glorious, cheesy chicken quesadilla that I could taste in my dreams. But as I rounded the corner, I saw it—a line of cars stretching longer than a CVS receipt. They say patience is a virtue, but Cookout just taught me that no amount of virtuous waiting can buy back the hour I spent staring at taillights, watching my dreams of melted cheese and chicken slip away with each inch forward.
It was like the line had its own ecosystem—cars idling for so long that I’m pretty sure the guy two cars up started his own garden. And as for the drive-thru, they moved at the speed of molasses in a January snowstorm. I swear I saw a whole family grow up in that line, and I think the cook actually went out to hunt my quesadilla chicken in the wild.
So, after what felt like the wait for a theme park ride, I finally gave up. No quesadilla, no cheesy joy—just a lingering hunger and a sense of betrayal. Thanks, Cookout. Next time, I’m bringing a tent and a...
