Big Lots — Local services in Fayetteville

I could write the fact that they had just what I was looming for at a great price first, but I really want to mention the customer service first. I was greater and welcomed when I entered the store. I was asked if I needed assistance finding what I needed in the outdoor furniture department right away, and the check-out was amazing. Called to get my item brought up right away, quickly got me hooked up with the bonus card, and brought my table out on the dolly. When I couldn't figure out how to put my seat down, she climbed right in and tried. She tried everything to see that I could bring it home with me, and when I couldn't, she helped me get it tagged for my husband to pick up later. She never got frustrated or was impatient. Minus 100 stars. The worst store ever. 1 employee at the cash register no one else in entire store. Walked around 4 times looking for someone. Finally whn i found someone i asked about the item i wanted and her response it was online. Store add says nothing about being bought online says the store. They will have a friday the 13th sale only sell items via online so when you look nothing available online then go to store and it's marked full price. Then i asked why all the 78% posters around the store and 48% less and they said it means that they buy items and mark them less then other stores. Its like ollies* But lets choose one item the Halloween wolf 300.00??? Lowes has better made and nicer for 1/2 the price . The store needs to just go out of business already. Big Lots has changed for the better since I moved to Fayetteville in 2013. The store is much more organized, bright and clean. The furniture sold there is comparable and has the quality of other brand-name furniture stores and you can get lost in the decorative isles. I bought the cutest jacket and matching (soft) joggers yesterday, they had a blue set as well but unfortunately, my size was not available. 🙁 On a positive note, I'm not sure who is running the store nowadays but they have given Big Lots a boost in my book and I will be comparing other BL's to this one!
