I actually love Farrells and go often however tonight's experience left me not wanting to go back. We knew it would be little busy but it wasn't as busy as we thought. We were a group of four and walked in at 620 to speak to the host Jake. He didn't offer up a wait time and when I asked he said 15 or 20 minutes. So we went and got drinks at the bar and sat in their lounge area. A half an hour passed and Jake walks by and I ask him if the two open tables could we just sit and get food service from the bar. He looks and says let me check on my reservation. He goes another 30 minutes pass and he doesn't come back. I go to the bar where he is serving food and ask if he got the opportunity to check on the reservation. He responded they aren't coming (I wasn't aware they took reservations and he didn't ask if we had one). Then when he notices me look at the open tables that now have people sitting at them and he said they were on the wait list before me. I asked if he knew when they would have a table because we are going to a show. He just looked I said would it be more than a half an hour his response was maybe I'm not sure. So we went to finish our new drinks we ordered. At 715 another 25 minutes later we finished drinks and left while there were 4 open tables and Noone said one word to us. We peaked at the list on our way out they had already marked us off the list. I'm super disappointed since none of the people with me had gone before all the bragging I did was in vain they see no reason to ever go back. I guess thanks for...

I had an unbelievable experience that makes this place special and now my favorite place on Dickson! The food, drinks and sports variety is better than Grubs, but what the owner and management team did for me exceeds all expectations!

My fiancé and I sat at the bar to watch Razorbacks and Bama. After that game I wanted to see the Vols game. I’m pretty sure I was the only one that wanted that game in the whole bar, but they gave me a tv to watch it.

Later that night, I realized I left my gift bag at the bar. I called the next day, but it was gone. The owner took my call and apologized, even though it was my fault for leaving it. He personally went to City Supply and replaced my gift, which was over $50. He personally delivered it to me when I returned later on Sunday. Who does that?

If he would do that, imagine what he does to run his core business. I’ll be forever grateful and tell everyone about my experience. It’s nice to know people like Tim and Mike are still out there. Thanks...

I have been here three times, and they have all been good except for tonight. My wife ordered the philly cheese steak, and said it's the worst she's possibly ever had. I enjoyed the hangover burger though. What really bothered us was the service. The waitress never checked up on us, and was gone for quite some time before she did check in. By that time we were done eating and promptly asked for the check. Honestly I'm very upset because as it stands we will probably never return and will not recommend this place. I saw at least two young ladies serving, and both hardly left there corner of the room. Seems like they were too busy "chilling". And now that I think about it, the alcohol is overpriced as well as the food. $10 for a burger from a bar, and the side is...

Surprisingly great food. I’d always thought of Farrell’s as a local bar, not a local restaurant that serves alcohol. I knew it wasn’t primarily a place frequented by undergrads, but honestly I had no idea how nice it really was. Went out on a date night and had planned to go to another Dickson favorite, but the snow and ice had apparently closed it down. So we thought we’d give it a try. The service was great. The prices were fine. The food was really good. We especially liked the fries. We didn’t know that they served entrees here, so we went with the burgers, but I will be back to try something off of the dinner menu and not just the bar menu. Give it a try. I hope you will be pleasantly surprised like we were.

This was one of the few restaurants open on Dickson on Sunday so it was packed. Pros: *Open on Sunday *Wide menu with cheaper bar food options on one side of the menu and more robust options on the other side *Lots of different types of meals *Draft Bud Light and Miller is $2.50 all day on Sunday. *Food was good. Cons: *We sat at the bar because there were no tables available. The bar has a step down lip on it so your plate is a little further away than the norm. *Shrimp and grits were kind of lukewarm. *Fries were kind of dry. *As with most places, seemed understaffed with a lot of piled up used plates and glasses at the end of the bar, but you could tell everyone was very busy given the crowd.

Update your website or stick to the hours you publish please! I came here for lunch today for the 3rd time and it's closed...for the 3rd time. Ended up here because the place I planned to go was closed and I'm glad I did! The bartender was cool and all the NFL game were on. I ordered the tenderloin sandwich with bacon truffle fries and, yes, it was as good as it sounds. I had no idea this place had such good food, I just assumed it was a "college bar" but it had a comfortable, laid-back vibe and I will be back to try out more of the menu and watch a game.
