Nestled in the vibrant culinary scene of Fayetteville, Gollabs Grill has become a go-to spot for burger enthusiasts and comfort food lovers alike. Recently, I had the opportunity to order from this beloved establishment through DoorDash, and while the experience was enjoyable, it left me with a few thoughts worth sharing.

I opted for the classic cheeseburger, requesting it “sloppy” with extra mayonnaise—an indulgence I often crave. Upon arrival, the burger was indeed messy and satisfying, just as I had hoped. However, I found the patty itself to be a touch underwhelming in terms of flavor; a bit more seasoning would have elevated this classic dish to new heights. My wife, meanwhile, chose a burger topped with a fried egg, which she thoroughly enjoyed. In fact, she suggested that I might have preferred my cheeseburger with an egg as well, and I can see how that addition could enhance the flavor and richness.

In addition to our burgers, I also ordered a Philly cheesesteak, which I saved for later. The following day, I reheated it in the oven, and it emerged toasty and delightful. The flavors were robust, making it a satisfying meal even when enjoyed a day after its initial preparation.

One of the main takeaways from my experience is that Gollabs Grill consistently delivers good food. We’ve dined here several times, and the quality has remained strong across the board. That said, I do wish I had opted to pick up the food in person, as it likely would have arrived piping hot and perhaps showcased the freshness more effectively than delivery allowed.

Get the Philly cheese steak and then come back and try other things. That has to be the best sauce I’ve ever had on one. This place is great, we came here twice today as a treat since my stepsons fly in tmrw and wife and I were both busy and didn’t feel like cooking. I’ve tried 4 different burgers/sandwiches from here and: fish sandwich just okay but that might just be me since I’m not a fan of fish too much but just wanted to try something new today. Honestly, I have picked up food twice from this place and the black man in the front has a very nasty attitude towards me every time I come in there. I am a Dasher and I came here to pick up food twice. He was very rude to me and he was acting like I couldn’t stand in the store and he demanded that I sit down even though I really didn’t want to so he took long with the food and he act like he didn’t want to give it to me the second time I came back.
