I’m actually writing this review over 3 years after this incident occurred because I still can’t shake it off to this day, so I feel the need to say something about it at this point. I am currently graduating from the U of A, but over three years ago when my dad and I were touring the campus, we stopped at Kingfish to use the restroom after driving for 4.5 hours. It was February 27th, 2022, it had just snowed, it was around only lunchtime, and it was Monday afternoon. My dad and I starting walking to the bathroom (ungreeted), with me behind, and he goes in. Before I could go into bathroom, I was stopped by an employee who asked for my ID. Keep in mind that it was around 2:00pm on a Monday, so there’s no need for a bouncer to be at the door unless I go up to the bar and order a drink, where the bartender would ask for it. I told the employee that I was underage, but that my dad and I were touring and just needed to use the bathroom and leave really quick because we had been driving. The employee said that I had to leave immediately because I was underage and that it didn’t matter if my dad was in there or not. I didn’t want to argue so I just stood outside the door, and they proceeded to open the door to tell me I could not be anywhere near the premises and had to stand in the parking lot, in the snow, alone, at 18 years old, for about 10 minutes. No remorse, the bathrooms were also no where near the bar. I will never provide any business to this company, and I’ve directed my friends and family, as well as those reading this, to not go here because it is not a friendly establishment. To validate all this, I’ve worked in the food industry for 5 years and could not imagine any place doing this in Fayetteville, or...
Read moreLast night I went to see my friend’s band. After grabbing a beer and going out back, I stepped in dog poop then crossed my legs so had fresh dog poop all over my jeans. While the groovy atmosphere of loose dogs is cute, no one can see dog poop in the dark on the Astroturf. While seeing a concert smeared in dog poop might be ok for some, I went home. Going to see a band at a bar should not involve the possibility of dog poop. To top it off, when I nicely warned the long haired round glasses guy who was working out back that there’s dog poop around the stage, he said, “That’s too bad.” Public...
Read moreI'm rating my experience on the outside portion of this venue alone. The band playing was doing a great job, and I would definitely go back to sit outside and listen in the future, but I'm not sure I would go to this place for any other reason. There wasn't enough seating outside, so we had to stand the entire time, and the bathrooms seemed pretty sketchy. I'm looking forward to giving it another shot the next time I'm out looking...
