Pepy Cakes — Restaurant in Fayetteville

The owner is so amazing and so nice! I arrived 30 mins before they were due to close and noticed inside they had cleaned up the display case and clearing up for the day. A little disheartened I called just to see if they had anything in the back and she did!

They were all cleaned up and ready to leave by still were so welcoming and kind. Most places would have been annoyed at last minute people rushing in before closing, but the owner and her daughters (?) were so lovely!

The cupcakes, even though being the very end of the day, were sooooo moist and delicious! There's a generous amount of icing and toppings. They come individual or boxes of 4 and 6. I jumped on the box of 6 and now my pregnancy cravings are satisfied.

They also have a punch card and I believe you get a free box after the 10th(?) visit. I can't exactly remember, I was just too eager to get gone and dig in lol.

Will definitely be waddling my phatass over...

Giving this business an overall 2 star due to the presentation of the cake that I ordered and paid for. To start the pros were that the service was good the taste of the cake was moist and flavorful and the owner responded quickly to my request. Based on the wonderful things people have said prior to us booking with Pepy Cakes, my husband and I was excited that the owner could execute my sons transformers cake. However upon arrival for pickup of the cake, the cake appeared to look rushed and sloppy. Within the design I could see finger incidents within the fondant work and overall was not worth the $370 I paid for. The cake was not horrible but it was not great either. Ive been here a few times and I really like the place. Customer service is good and the variety of sweet treats is nice. I’ve tried the sweet potato cupcake, peach cobbler cupcake, snickers cupcake, Oreo cupcake (not all in one visit). My absolute fav is the peach cobbler cupcake and then the sweet potato cupcake. Oh and I’ve tried the apple pie poundcake and the chocolate chip cookies. Both were good but I wish the cookies were made with brown butter and walnuts. Just my personal preference. The poundcake was moist.

Although it is a bakery it doesn’t smell like fresh baked goods. I would recommend maybe burning bakery scented candles. Oh and posting the flavors of the day on...
