Omar's Culinary Journey
Once upon a time in a bustling city, there lived a young man named Omar whose passion for cooking knew no bounds. Omar had always been drawn to the kitchen, fascinated by the sizzle of pans and the aroma of spices that filled the air.
Despite his humble beginnings, Omar's culinary journey began at an early age, watching his grandmother concoct traditional dishes with love and precision. As he grew older, he started experimenting with ingredients, eager to put his own twist on classic recipes.
One sunny afternoon, Omar decided to host a dinner party for his closest friends. He meticulously planned the menu, selecting only the freshest ingredients from the local market. With each chop of the knife and stir of the spoon, he poured his heart and soul into every dish.
As the guests arrived, they were greeted by the tantalizing scent wafting from Omar's kitchen. Curious and excited, they gathered around the table as Omar unveiled his culinary creations one by one.
First came the appetizers – crispy falafel bites drizzled with tangy tahini sauce, followed by a vibrant Greek salad bursting with flavor. The main course was a masterpiece – tender lamb kebabs marinated in a fragrant blend of spices, served alongside fluffy saffron rice and grilled vegetables.
But the true pièce de résistance was Omar's dessert – a decadent chocolate soufflé that melted in the mouth, leaving everyone speechless with delight. Each bite was a symphony of sweetness, a testament to Omar's skill and dedication to his craft.
As the evening drew to a close, Omar's friends showered him with praise, marveling at his culinary prowess. But for Omar, the greatest reward was seeing the joy on their faces as they savored his creations, knowing that he had shared not just a meal, but a piece of his heart with each and every one of them.
From that day forward, Omar's reputation as a masterful cook spread far and wide, earning him accolades and admiration from all who tasted his food. But for Omar, the true joy lay not in the praise or recognition, but in the simple act of bringing people together through the power of food and friendship. And so, armed with nothing but his passion and his apron, Omar continued his culinary journey, one delicious...

Last month, my order of the Escobar clearly had something rotten about it. I know, because I’ve ordered it at least 20 times but this time the smell and taste was like rancid onions.
Tonight we decided to give it another shot thinking it was a fluke. Ordering the El Padrino, the taste was fine but there were almost no ingredients. I ordered it dirty (online) for two dollars more but they just didn’t do that. But to say that the ingredients were life is an understatement. Think Taco Bell quesadilla, but this one costs $13.
My date ordered the El Marro. Chicken was rock hard. She settled for chips and dip two bites in.
I believe that the owner or manager of at least this location is cutting costs and making the product quality dip far below what they’re charging. It’s a terrible thing. Farewell PLOMO. We had some good times.
original review from years ago ====== Incredible quesadillas. The “make it dirty” concept with cheese grilled on the outside is delicious. Prices are perfect for a dine and dash place on Dickson. Plus they’re open late soooo if you’re walking around and forgot about a little thing called dinner, PLOMO is an easy decision! Favs: Escobar if you love steak, although sometimes the cut is fatty. If you don’t mind that, go for it. El Chopo is my 2nd fav. They change menus frequently so look out for new ones on the instagrams. AND for bonus, anyone who steals the cash under the security camera without getting caught on video automatically wins Pablo Escobar’s original gold...
Read moreWent here after the Auburn Arkansas game. When we arrived there were a few people waiting for their orders and no one in line. We ordered and they said it would be out shortly. As we waited, we watched people come in, order, and receive their food about 10 or 15 minutes later. After 30 minutes of seeing this, I approached an employee and asked if they had forgotten about our order. He assured me that they had not and it would be out shortly. We then waited another 30 minutes and watched the same thing happen. I again approached an employee and asked if they had forgotten about our order. He went to the back and then came back and rung it up on the register as if the kitchen staff had never received it. He said he would make sure that it was the first thing they did and it would be out in 5 or 10 minutes. We proceeded to watch customers walk out with food and finally received our food about an hour and a half after we ordered. Orders that were asked to have no jalapeños had jalapeños. One order was supposed to have shrimp on it. When they brought it out and it had chicken, we asked about it and we’re told that they ran out of shrimp (Like they expected us to get the order and not notice). Guy at the counter was nice, but come on. No refund. No discount. Orders messed up. Hour and a half wait. Pathetic. Shouldn’t be that hard to make a quesadilla but this place has clearly made it way too complicated. They did offer us a 50% discount for the next time we come, but we will not...
