For several decades this place continually got 'best in Fayetteville' and for good reason. They are quick, typically accurate with deliveries, and nice to boot.
The struggles of the past couple of years notwithstanding, I cannot knock a place for having to deal with forces everyone is experiencing, and in the case of this location I feel like they did the best they could to make it through. There ARE several other restaurants in town that we have taken off our list to visit because they couldn't even maintain a minimum of decent service.
We order delivery a lot and are well known by the typical long time (employed) drivers. We tip well so they are super-fast getting here. They always work with my SO food allergies, and it is great to let them take care of cooking some nights.
We went and ate dine in the other day and it was wonderful. The food and service were very good, and it was nice to get to chat with the staff a bit.
edit- I will point out something I notice. Take a moment to click on the review profiles for people leaving these one-star reviews. I like to do so because you often find out pretty quickly that NO ONE is satisfying to them. Hard to believe that it is a fair opinion when every single place they walk into leaves them indignant, incorrect, rude, etc. etc. Much more like perceived slights for other reasons, people wearing a chip on their shoulder and/or feelings on...
Read moreThe beef and chicken from my food was under cooked. I have been sick the whole week. Undercooking my food was retaliatory because I request no veggies and no egg in my fried rice. I always order no egg in my fried rice. Today, they wanted to charge me $1.50 for no egg. (They charge .75 to place an order on their website and I leave a $5 tip. Everytime I order, I pay an additional $5.75)
If Michelle is not working this place is a S.ugar H.oney I.ce T.ea Show. I order the same thing once or twice a week and always leave a $5 tip. But Sunday 1/1/2023 was the last time.
They were not busy. My order was not difficult to make. No reason to undercook my food. When a restaurant undercooks your food it is a one way message that reads "Don't come Back! We don't want your business!" In my case, it was received Loud and clear.
I eat here so much I could point out the investors/stakeholders and managers. Whosoever was the "Boss" working on New Year's day, They need to crawl back under their...
Read moreHad a very pleasant experience. Usually where I'm from, when I call to order Chinese I'm almost always greeted with an loud, impatient and rushful tone. But when I called to place my order today I was surprised. The waitress was actually....nice? Ok Weird. So I got a homemade-style tofu, and maybe its because I only eat vegetables, but the first thing I noticed was that it was actually made like someone cooked it. Vegetables tasted pretty fresh, as well as their being an actual non-stock variety of vegetables in my sauce. This was surprisingly refreshing to me, as most Chinese places always seem to have the same choice of vegetables. Tofu was cooked just right, crispy but not too dry, as well as a springiness and "chew" to it. Sauce was light and not to heavily sweet or overly seasoned. All in all, I think this may be one of the few decent Chinese places I've been to in a lonng time. Food was good but the warm, non-aggressive service is what really...
