Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Fayetteville

What a Team!!! It had been over 20 years since I pulled into a Schlotzky's, and 15 since I had a Cinnabon. What the heck , why not? Not disappointed at all. Two amazing women served me at the drive through, one took my order with personality plus and professionalism on point! The other made a perfect sandwich and quoted she had made it with love! Wow, over the top service and amazing food. I explained how long it had been since I had either and got my food and left. When I got home and opened my bag there sat a tiny surprise for me. Let's just say a small sweet treat! I will become a loyal customer to this store and location and will open my big mouth to tell everyone I can, the price was right, the sandwich was perfectly made, the service was excellent! This is my first visit to this Schlotzsky's location, and it was not bad. I ordered a smoked turkey sandwich with avocado. It came on a sourdough bun. I didn't know it was going to be so big! I ordered the large and it literally took up the entire plate, as you can see from my picture. That's okay cause now I can eat on it three more times. As far as the sandwich goes it was good but they should have put quite a bit more guacamole on there, seeing as there was only enough on there to make the bread green but I could not even taste it, so to me it was a waste of time and money. My wife had a roasted chicken sandwich, and honestly hers tasted better, but she also had red onions and cheese on hers. The service was great though. The two young ladies I talked to who work there were very nice, and very sociable with smiles on their faces. And that's very valuable to me. I ordered from this establishment this evening specifically to get baked potato soup for my sick daughter (it’s the only kind she likes.) I called twice ahead of placing my order to confirm they had the soup. I picked up my Togo order and asked the woman if the bag contained them and was told yes. When I drove home (20 minutes away) I did not have the soups. I called them to see what could be done. They offered nothing. I told them that I could come back to town to get it. They refused since I was coming from 20 minutes away, it would’ve been 5 minutes after they close. Apparently they walk out the door the second they close. The guy was rude and unhelpful and I was hung up on me. Instead of caring that it was their mistake they wouldn’t wait 5 minutes past 9 for me to get there. I wasted $20 on three bowls of soup I did not get, was hung up on, and offered nothing to make it right. Worst...
