I’ve been coming to crepes since I was in high school (so about 7 years. I have been thrilled to have a location so much closer to home (rather than the 30 minute drive to bentonville it’s a 9 minute drive!!!) I will sometimes bring my dog and get the doggo ofc! My go to crepe is always either the la thai or the la club! Sometimes if I’m treating myself I will also get a Nutella crepe with strawberries!!!
However after my last visit I’m wary about coming back. It was my little brother and I, we sat at the first table/ booth there on that corner. To be honest I’ve been dwelling on even writing this review as I love this place so much and wish I didn’t have this experience, however… They seem to have gotten a new girl on staff… tall with brown hair looks to be curly, had acrylics on they looked like fruits? She took our order and was kinda off but I understand everyone has off days and maybe she was stressed she looked about college age, but as our visit went on she brought out our crepes and her nail was digging into my lemon crepe and she had forgotten our drinks.
Mind you after we got our food we had heard her talking, pretty loudly, about subjects that I would say in most workplaces would not be allowed. Especially when it’s a kid friendly place. She was being very loud about how she had been hanging out with her “stripper friends” and was learning to pole dance. She then said she almost moved in with a guy for the sole reason of hooking up with him (though the words she used were more graphic). When I came up to refill my water she rolled her eyes at me and went to stand by the register, like I had offended her for coming up because she thought I was asking something? I don’t know her name but she has dark blond or light brown hair that’s curly, nails that looked like fruits? She was wearing a white tank top and was taller.
I do sometimes chat with some of the staff and they are usually always so happy and cheerful or at least show me kindness so this was disheartening and honestly gross to hear.
Also when my brother asked for one of the coco cookie samples she told us we had already had one and we COULDNT have another one (we never had a sample) when I said we hadn’t had a sample she said “well I saw him grabbing one so you can’t have another” and I said he was pointing at them asking me if it was okay and I told him to wait and let’s ask the person behind the counter.
Though I may not be back for a while I know I’ll certainly walk out of the door if I see that person in store again.
Much love crepes I hope to see you...
Read moreI've heard the Crepes Paulette in Bentonville was good and I've been meaning to try it for a while. But then this location opened, and I decided to check it out. Everything I've heard was all true! It's unique and delicious. There are a lot of savory and sweet options on the menu, and they all sound good. I went with Le Spinach for the savory and the Elvis for the sweet. They were both excellent! However, if I knew how big they were, I would have been perfect with just one! I was pretty full afterwards, and that's saying a lot. I did have a small carrot curry soup as well (also fantastic) but the crepes are pretty big and stuffed full of deliciousness. The food was brought out to my table quickly and everything was nice and hot. This will definitely be added to my growing list of great places...
Read moreAdorable spot with some really convenient and delicious food. The Monte Cristo was incredible- the jam tasted just like my mom makes, so it was really hard to make myself try something different this time, but the Reuben slayed, it was so freaking good, too. Next time, hoping they still have that chicken parm because I wanna try. Paulettes will absolutely make you drool at the word crepe if you go just one time. Seriously one of the best things I've had in a long time. Zero complaints, really wish they would put one in Fort Smith 😭 I will be your advocate, just come to town and I'll scream your name from...
