I don't think they are a chain, this place has been around for a long time in Fayetteville and hopefully it will stick around just as long. Their frozen custard is better than ice cream, much richer and creamier and more complex flavor. They only have chocolate and vanilla if you want it as a cone or concrete, but you can get whatever flavors you want added, plus plenty of toppings They do a huge selection of floats and blended drinks, and all the toppings you could want. Honestly, their menu has way more selection than it needs! Try their classic Brown Cow root beer float, but if you like chocolate, just try a small chocolate concrete. There is no reason why any human would need to get a large anything here. It is a truly unreasonable amount of frozen custard. My roommate can finish one...but he is what Gabriel Iglesias would describe as a "Damn!!!" sized man. One thing I really like about their location, they have drive-through windows on both side of the building, so that either the driver or the passenger can order, pay, and take the ice cream. I find that extremely handy when I have several passengers who want ice cream, because its just way more convenient for the passenger to pass the cones and cups back into the car. No need for the driver to try to juggle money, then getting change, and handing everyone there order at...
Read moreArrived around 8 pm and walked up to the windows with no other customers there expecting to be greeted at least within a minute of us arriving. Took a few minutes for anyone to even see that we were there. A guy was walking around in there doing a whole bunch of nothing, looked right at us and walked away as if we were invisible. One of the ladies finally noticed we were there after about 5 minutes of standing in the cold. I know the drive thru is an option yet, my car is too low to reach the windows. After she took our order, we got it within 2 minutes which was cool. Other than the guy pretending we were not there, it was...
Read moreBought 4, 1 scoop ice cream cups (w toppings) for myself and three kids. $18.67 One I asked for m&ms and sprinkles and they gave chocolate chips and sprinkles so kindly asked to fix. No problem. Then they forgot the bananas in another one and charged us an additional .79. Turns out it was cheaper to get the sundae with 2 or 3 scoops. They made me take out my card again in order to cover the extra .79 cents after they messed up twice and we just paid almost $19 for 4 scoops of custard w toppings. Don’t mind paying a bit more for custard but this is gouging. Very disrespectful and no apology for messing up...
