Iâll start off by saying that my friends and I normally love this Fayetteville staple, but our experience last night will likely be our last.
We were seated by the door originally and it was a bit chilly, so we asked to be moved to a table in the back. The waiter said it was fine, but seemed to change his attitude toward us after the request. We werenât the only ones to do this though.. another couple who was sat by the door was soon moved to the back as well, so it didnât seem like an outlandish request at all.
We ordered waters for the table and a mimosa bucket. It took about twenty minutes or so to get the bucket, and it came with no juice. Just straight champagne. Our waiter was nowhere to be seen after that. He came back eventually with juice but no waters. We placed our order for an appetizer, pizza, and again for waters. I also let him know that my other friend would be joining us.
She arrived before our waters and our food. The next time we saw our waiter, he brought out our appetizer and pizza at the same time. We again asked for waters and also ranch when he asked if we needed anything. He took my friendâs order, and eventually came back with waters but no ranch.
We let it slide because who knows, maybe he was new since he was young? Eventually the manager came over to check on us, and started by saying, âlooks like you guys could use a little more room on that table huh?â. I told her it was a small table but we were making it work. She asked how the service and food was. We told her the food was good, the service was okay, and that weâve been waiting on water refills and ranch for a while now. She asked us who our server was, so we pointed him out to her. She then turned to us and said in an incredibly snarky tone, âwell I ensure you he is really doing his bestâ.
Umm okay? You asked us and we answered, maâam. It was a very weird interaction. One that we talked about for the rest of the night.
Anyway, my friendâs pizza came out and we asked for a box and our checks. We accepted at this point that refills and ranch werenât gonna happen. Once we got our checks, we saw that we were charged $2 extra each for pineapple juice even though we got orange juice. We agreed that it wasnât even worth the hassle of mentioning and changing it as it would likely add another twenty minutes to our stay, so we went ahead and paid the additional charge.
As we were leaving, we heard the table next to us (a family with two children) complaining about the service as well. I saw that they had no drinks or food on the table although they had been there for some time.
Who knows, maybe we just ended up with a bad server and manager for the night. We donât plan on coming back anytime soon to find out whether this was an...
Read moreYeah, itâs a cool spot and itâs been around forever, but we went for Fatherâs Day 2025âjust a few days agoâand honestly, it was a letdown. The pizza wasnât good, and every plate and cup had gunk on it, like leftover dishwater or crud from the sink. Nothing felt clean.
The atmosphere was pure chaos. Rock music blared from the kitchen while easy jazz played from the ceiling speakersâit clashed hard. TVs were on every wall, but I almost think the place would be better without them. It was just too much happening at once.
Visually, it felt slapped together. Power strips dangled from the walls, not even mountedâthough mounting them wouldnât fix the look either.
The only bright spot was our server. It was his first shift, and we were his first table. We were friendly, joked around with him, and didnât complainâhe was still upbeat and hadnât been worn down by all the quick fixes and patch jobs yet. You could tell he was trying, and we appreciated that.
As for the owner or managerâIâm not sure whichâsheâs a regular at my job, and even she doesnât have anything good to say about the place when...
