I have had several bad experiences going to this Wendy’s. Which has led up to this review. Two of the worst experiences are when I ordered an ice cream and two cookies. The teenage girl working took my card and told me it will be 8 dollars and quickly closed the window. I quickly motioned for her and told her that price doesn’t sound right it should be 4-5 which is also what they told me before I pulled foreword. She ran back and her and this other teen male quickly exchanged a few words and she out right blamed him and stated he didn’t tell her he had two orders? Anyways they brought the manager up and they were standing there looking confused so being nice I told them to just compensate me for what I actually paid in cookies. They apologized and I pulled up they quickly handed me my food and closed the window, when I got home they did not compensate me at all to the amount I paid and to make things worse they gave me the wrong flavor cookies that were hard as rocks. I called the next day to get a refund. The manager working told me to call back to talk to Adrian because he does not handle that. tf. Called back and left a message with an older woman to have Adrian call me back and she apologized about the experience. Adrian never called me back and I was too tired to even keep trying. So basically I spent 8 bucks for 1 frosty And Wendy’s avoided giving me a refund. Second time around I pull up with my son to order some chicken nuggets the man has a look of shock on his face and exclaims “that is a Big baby! How old is he?” I told him he’s five. My son is actually small for his age and slender looking the man was clearly implying I look to young to have a child and of course guess what he asks next? My age 🙄 I left feeling degraded and uncomfortable. Turns out that man was Adrian the manager. Somebody from corporate please explain why they have these idiots running the Wendy’s in Fayetteville. That man should not...
Read moreThis Wendy’s is one of the worse. I’m here right now at 2:45pm August 19th and chose to dine on the inside. The young lady working the register walked up slowly as if she was not interested in taking my order. She started with “What can I get you” with her head down the entire time. While this was happening the male cook was busy showing off stuff on his phone to his other co workers. I got my order which was the biggie stack meal 1 second after ordering. The fries were burned and cold. The nuggets were cold as well. The burger may have been sitting on a warmer. I asked for hot fries and nuggets. I had to ask for nuggets again because they brought out cold ones yet again. The female working the register who looked frustrated with me went back and dumped the nuggets back in the cold batch. (Mind you in order to know it was cold I had to touch the food thoroughly) The female worker with the purple hair was nice as she informed me that it would be a little while on hot regular nuggets and offered me spicy since they were hot. I took the spicy and appreciated her communication. More than likely I will not be ordering from this location ever again.
More to add: as I sat here as a black lesbian. I watched that same worker on the register greet the white customers which is crazy because she is black. Are we teaching these workers to only greet and give quality service to straight white people? If so, this is a lost generation and the company should be ashamed. Didn’t know I would get service based on what I look like and that’s...
Read moreSorry to say it but the Summit Point Wendy's has now fallen into the pit of lax employee attitude and poor management that up till very recently was only most often found at the fast food establishments in the North Fayetteville area along 85. With this is the last place other than CFA that we would stop for anything in that genre. Got a spicy chicken sandwich combo. Forgot the fries and had to go back in. Got this abomination home to find a sandwich with a measly and brown rotten bit of lettuce, a smashed tomato, I suspect rancid mayonnaise of which there was enough for four more sandwiches on. The fries that had to be gone inside to retrieve had obviously been overcooked about 20 minutes prior. The food was so bad that I basically could have just set fire to the roughly $10 that cost. We tendered a complaint with the "care team" and I expect about the same manner of disregard as is prominent in store. At this point, outside some of the sit down spots the food landscape in Fayetteville has gone past the point of return, IMO. Really sad to see this going on in our area. It would be nice to at least pretend you cared about your job, the job done, and the people...
