I wouldn't patronize this place if I was starving and it was the last restaurant left! I called a few minutes ago and asked to speak to a manager to advise that when I sent my husband to pick up an the order of wings the night before last, my order of 10- wings only contained seven wings. By the time I realized that the order was 3 wings short, it was already past 9 p.m., so they were closed. I didn't think any more about it until a few minutes ago, when I decided I wanted more wings. I decided to call the manager just to let him/her know what happened the other night and make sure that this time, I get my pay for it. The guy who answered the phone told me the manager wasn't in, so I proceeded to explain to him that the night before last, I sent my husband up there to get 10 piece wings, but when he got home, there were only 7. The guy on the phone proceeded to tell me that can't be so because they open the carton to show the customer the order before giving it to them, and my husband should have counted the wings before leaving. Does anybody stand there and count to make sure they have 10 wings??? I then reiterated that I only got seven wings and that I would not have taken the time to look up the phone number and call up there to make up a story about not getting what we paid for in order to try to get three free wings. I told him that if he listened to what I said, I was about to order more wings, so obviously, I wasn't trying to get something for free. I said this is about the principle of the matter because if I only wanted six or seven wings, I would have told my husband to order six wings. The fact that my husband ordered 10 wings, all flats, lemon pepper extra wet, I'm sure came at an extra cost, but I only got seven wings. The guy on the phone proceeded to tell me that had it had happened to him, he would have just brushed it off because he doesn't get upset over little things like that. Really??? I told him that's his prerogative, but we aren't discussing what he would do in this situation because what matters is I did not get what I paid for. I repeated that my intention was to call up there and let them know what happened, so it did happen again because I was about to place another order; however, in light of his attitude and smart comments, I NOW see why their Google reviews are so poor, and I changed my mind about patronizing them. The next thing I knew, he hung the phone up in my face. I then called back, and he picked the phone and without saying a word, hung up again! I Immediately started looking up the contact information for their corporate office, when my phone rings and it's the guy from WnB calling me. I answered the phone and said don't bother calling me now after you hung up on me.I could tell he was surprised to hear my voice, which let me know he"d dialed my number by mistake. I told him I was about to file a complaint with corporate, He told me to go right ahead and hung up on me again.
Needless to say, I'll be contacting the owner of this location and following up with corporate on Monday morning. This WNB location needs to be shut down....PERIOD AND DOT. The service is deplorable, and based on the Google reviews, the food is...
Read moreMy visit was on 10/31/21 about 7pm and I must say this was the absolute worst experience I've had with a wing spot. I will start with when I walked into the restaurant. There was no greeting. The cashier mumbled something that I didn't quite hear, so I said excuse me. She then said "pick-up or order". I smiled and said "oh sorry, I will be ordering". Still no greeting. The phone rings and she expressed her frustration with the phone before picking up. I thought this was very unprofessional to do in front of a customer but oh well, maybe she was just tired.
I then placed my order requesting specific instructions of extra crispy wings. The cashier called me up about 10 minutes later, in my mind I was thinking there is no way they made the wings extra crispy because it typically takes longer which I am always okay with. As, I suspected they were not as I requested. When I advised the cashier they are not as I requested, her response was "I don't know, I just put in the orders", her body language was as if she expected me to accept that response. I then said, could you please ask them to prepare them as I requested. She proceeded with extreme attitude to go to the back and quietly communicate with the cooks. She then came back and said, they are not going to do anything about it because we are about to close. I said, I'm sorry but I'm not accepting food I've paid for and will not eat. She did not say a word, rolled her eyes and went over to the register and did something. I had no idea what she was doing, so I was just standing there looking crazy. She proceeded to take another customers order, still not saying a word to me. She then start doing other things, then I asked what was going on. She responded "I put it in" At this time, I was getting really frustrated. I asked can you please explain to me what you are doing and what's going on. She said "I put the order in again to have it cooked how you wanted it." I said okay Thank you.
After about 15 minutes, she called me up again and this time the food was prepared exactly as I requested. The cashier was giving me the nastiest look and attitude. So, I asked "So, you are upset at me for wanting my food the way I requested and paid for", she did not say a word, just ignored me.
The food was decent but due to the horrible customer service experience, I will not visit this...
Read moreI'm very disappointed that my experience with this business wasn't better than it was. My family and friends have raved about it. But i'm not impressed.
My boyfriend and I ordered the 20 piece wings, hot lemon pepper, & boneless. With a large order of fries to share between the both of us. We went on a Sunday afternoon, so i'm not surprised that it was packed. But it took us about 20 minutes to get our order from the time we placed it, and they were pumping out orders very slowly for people that ordered before us. Not to mention, the cashiers were eating on front counter. I hate seeing that, that's so nasty. By the time that we got our order, the cashier was acting strange like when she called our number, she pointed at our order and then stared at my boyfriend and said "This one?" he said "Yes..........can I have it?" And out of all the sauces they had, she only offered one or two of them.
After all of the waiting, our fries were very soggy and unseasoned and the wings were very strange. It was a dry rub that they put on the wings, but it was greasy and the meat was dry.
I don't think i'll be back..atleast not to the location on the southside of Fayetteville near the Kroger. Y'all need to get it together. I can go to Zaxby's and get better wings and fries for what...
