I came here on the opening day of Word Coffee. I stepped into an inviting atmosphere filled with warmth and excitement. The staff welcomed us with friendly smiles. The interior lighting, with its cozy and warm ambiance, complemented the exposed wood decor. Large, art pieces adorned the walls, adding a touch of fun and creativity to the modern vibe of the place.
I ordered a cappuccino and a C.S.L., both of which were expertly crafted and truly outstanding. The foam art on both drinks was not only visually pleasing but also a testament to the baristaâs skill. These were up there with the best coffees Iâve had in Northwest Arkansas. What impressed me even more was the extensive coffee menu, offering options like Kyoto Cold Brew, Lattes, Cold Brew, and a variety of standard drinks, including Cortados and Cappuccinos.
While I didnât sample any of the pastries on display, they all looked tempting and of high quality. The pastry display case showcased an array of fresh and delightful treats, making it clear that Word Coffee values quality in every aspect of their offerings.
The customer service was exceptional throughout my visit. G, who was managing the register and taking orders, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The entire staff, including those working diligently to craft the perfect cup of coffee, radiated enthusiasm and a genuine passion for what they do. Their excitement for our presence added to the overall positive experience.
My overall experience at Word Coffee was exceptional, and I am eager to return. I wholeheartedly recommend this coffee shop to anyone who enjoys coffee.
Situated in a charmingly converted old liquor store, it offers a great outdoor seating area and comfortable indoor spaces. The impeccable cleanliness of the shop and the attractive signage further enhance its appeal. Itâs important to note that any minor hiccups on their opening day can be expected and are forgivable in light of the overall fantastic experience.
Word Coffee has certainly made its mark on the local coffee scene, and I canât wait to see what else they have in store. Donât miss the opportunity to savor their amazing coffee and bask in their warm, welcoming atmosphere. Word Coffee is a true gem for coffee lovers in...
Read moreTLDR: stop reading and come here, you will not be disappointed. The most artfully brewed espresso I've found in nwa.
The list: I've been to darn near every coffee shop in Fay-town, and I can say with absolute objectivity that Word is the best. Usually you either get good specialty drinks or good straight espresso at a shop, but here they absolutely nail both.
The coffee: Our order: fig vanilla cap, perfect pear, Honduras espresso blend, gyubin espresso blend.
The specialty drinks are the perfect amount of eclectic without being overbearing. Instead of cloyingly sweet Monin / Torani syrup bombs be prepared to experience thoughtfully balanced creations that provide bold and unique flavor profiles while somehow letting the coffee still shine through. Pair this with immaculately pulled espresso and I don't know that they can be beaten.
The service: The owner came to our table and discussing the tasting notes of our espresso flight with us. The service was beyond reproach.
The vibe: Cozy modern minimalism. Hip, clean and warm without...
Read moreI was greeted with a smile and genuine desire to answer any of my questions. There were only 2 spaces open in the 15min parking area and all the permanent parking was taken. For good reason! The inside of the shop was full, yet inviting. The head barista talked coffee with me and shared the âcommunity over competitionâ focus that they have. That means they donât serve local roaster coffees, opting to share out of town roasters with their client base and telling them to go drink local coffees at the local shops if they want local. They currently buy from roasters in North Carolina, Washington, and Kansas City. I couldnât wait to try my half-sweet cardamom honey latte before snapping a pic. Hence the skewed latte art! Go check them out!! It was...
