While the place looked like it hadn't been updated in quite some time, don't let that fool you. We were there at 4pm and it wasn't too busy but not dead either. The food was great ✅ The staff was very friendly ✅ The prices were reasonable ✅ This is one of those local places that you probably wouldn't even consider if you drove by it as an out of towner. Not to mention it was 17 minutes out of our way on route to Florida. I was happy to drive it and check out a local place with such high reviews. I asked what were the favorites and the server was very helpful in making choices. ✅ She said gyros, sandwiches, spaghetti are all favorites. We each got a gyro and onion rings to split and then shared a baklava at the end. High marks on all ✅ Even the coffee was good and she came by with in a refills before we had to ask. ✅ They had tables and booths to choose from. I would normally choose a booth but they did not feel like they would handle our plus size frames comfortably. ➖ We chose a table instead. The chair was a little less sturdy than I would have liked ➖ But I did not have a Shallow Hal moment so all was good. 😂 ✅ My husband got to play a nostalgic arcade game which he enjoyed. ✅ I wish they had garbage can instead of a food cart for the garbage because that was a bit unpleasant to see on our way out. ➖ Now to the bathrooms: I would say they mirror the restaurant. Dated and in need of a facelift working and clean. The paper towels were out but the door to the bathroom stayed open so I didn't have to touch it when I left. Pee or pass? Pee ✅

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing this place is! Lived in this town my whole life and came here as a kid, now I’m bringing my kid here! The food is always amazing, literally NEVER had an error with my order and I don’t doubt that if we did they would handle it magnificently! They have a deal for their spaghetti every Wednesday that is unbeatable too! Their meat sauce is super thick and rich and their marinara is a little sweeter with peppers in it and it is absolutely fantastic especially if you’re looking for a different take on marinara spaghetti! We come here so often they even know we need the lunch AND breakfast menu when we sit down! If you’re from out of town and you’re looking for one of those unique non-chain restaurants that are specialty to their towns, this is it! And it’s got so much to keep coming back for! THEIR GREEK SALAD IS THE BEST GREEK SALAD I HAVE EVER DEVOURED!! My toddler actually eats their food and wants more, and my current pregnancy is being fueled by them at least once a week! This is the type of restaurant that makes you proud of the city you live in! Many good memories have been made here and we can’t wait to make many more! If you’re coming to town to stay or just traveling through, you have GOT to stop here!!

Had a fantastic experience taking my family to brunch here last weekend. The service was fast, the food was great and the pricing was good. A big kitchen family atmosphere with large seating capacity was humming and operating with great efficiency. We had everything to eat and drink from coke to coffee and from from eggs to spaghetti - and it all tasted great. Service was top shelf too. Everything was served hot, and promptly from a phenomenal waitress named Jessie. I will definitely make this a stop (mandatory) anytime I am back in Fayetteville, NC!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! The staff is BEYOND RUDE. Especially the curly haired dye blonde WAITRESS, based on her nasty attitude she's has to be an owners daughter or something. ANYWHERE else would fire her in a nanosecond. She has absolutely NO business working with customers. She was rude to everyone she spoke to. From the moment we sat down she had a disgusting & unwelcoming attitude. The table was dirty,it hadn't been wiped, No big deal but when I asked her if she would wipe the table the reply was a snotty toned "Well PROBABLY because I haven't had a chance to clean it yet" whatever that means. There was next to noone in there. Then as we were ordering we asked that the app be brought together with the rest of the food. The other waitress brought the app first. We said absolutely nothing but did look surprised at each other (because we didn't expect it brought alone) not even ONE minute later the nasty waitress was at our table loudly saying "Is there a PROBLEM?!" We had no idea what she was even talking about or why she was being confrontational. When we replied "what?" because we were confused, she says "she said you looked at her funny like the gods wrong or something. Is there a PROBLEM?!" Then went into a big nonsense explanation about how she asked and we said to bring the salad with the food not the appetizer... blah blah. She was basically arguing with herself & yelling at us. Other customers were staring. It was beyond uncomfortable and we were more shocked than anything that this person was acting like this let alone still has a job. When she did bring our food she smacked the check down on the table at the same time... she never came back to wait on us or even ask us if we needed anything. Good thing we weren't planning to order anything else. The food was mediocre but based on the vile & confrontational wait staff we'll NEVER return. Do yourself a favor and Stay AWAY from this place. Not worth it & there's absolutely nothing relaxing about the outdated and dirty vinyl booths and dim dingy lighting. The place obviously hasn't been renovated since the early 80s...seriously. Read other reviews, when we looked after we left there's comments ALL over review sites about the disgusting attitudes and terrible service. Don't support these...

Zorba's would get no stars from me, but you have to give at least one so I ordered a meal that was $8 and some change, when I get there to pick up my order it comes to $12.75. I asked the lady what she charged me for? She charged me extra for an extra side of taziki which is understandable but she also charged me extra because I asked for my pita bread on the side in another container because they serve it with hot chicken and cold lettuce on top of the pita bread which by the time I get to eat it I have soggy pita bread and soggy lettuce from the steam of the hot chicken and bread so I asked for the pita bread and my fries to be put in a separate container to avoid having to eat soggy bread and french fries with lettuce and onions and cheese on them because they just throw all the food in one container all on top of each other. Then this rude guy comes from the kitchen he was sweaty and had his hair hanging down which was wet with no hair net and he had on a wet sweaty shirt. He was very rude and asked what's the problem. I told him I was not happy with the price and I should not be charged almost 4 extra dollars just because I didn't want soggy bread he screamed at me that's how we've been serving it for 40 years and he grabbed my food and said you don't want it fine, you can leave. Now why would you treat someone that way just because they didn't want their bread soggy or they wanted their food fixed a certain way or some things put on the side. I guess he feels that if he looses one customer it doesn't matter because that's how he's been doing it for 40 years and their is no reason to change it or accommodate your customer because that's how they serve it. Needless to say I will never eat at Zorba's again and I agree with the other reviews on here where the price is not worth the quality of the food. Zorba's does not care about their customers, if you are unhappy with something or ask for an accommodation be careful you may get yelled at and your food will be taken away and you will be asked to leave so make sure you take it just how they give it to you. Don't eat there, the customer service is bad and the food is not worth the...

So let me start and say, My family and I have been coming to Zorbas between both of its locations in Fayetteville and Hope Mills for over 15 years. I truly enjoyed the food, especially the Spaghetti and GYROS! I never ever had a bad experience nor a complaint until my visit last week to this location!! It was Wednesday (Spaghetti Day!) and I was in class up the street and bragged prior to comingbabout how great the food was, especially the Spaghetti so my classmates wanted to experience it. They are not from here (Military). We went and not even 25 minutes into our food being delivered, one of my classmates had a complaint that what she received was nothing like the picture advertised (which was true). She ordered a salad which in the picture shows a lot of greenery like kale, romaine etc topped with tomatoes, etc. what she got was Ice berg lettuce and onions! She refused to eat it and wanted to speak to the manager about how it could be handled and any substitutions bc she was misled. I truly do not know how the situation stirred in the wrong direction but it was getting a little heated and another classmate advised we can leave. At this time, the manager basically said “yes go ahead and go” and at the same time I was still eating my food (not saying a word). I literally had the fork up to my mouth and he took all of our plates and told us to leave. That was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant. I was going to be a paying customer regardless of any situation as I have always been, BUT Zorbas has lost a long time customer. I was beyond upset and all I could think was what if that forked like scrapped the inside of mouth wrong or my tooth, bc he just took everything..then all hell would’ve broke loose or they would have had a lawsuit for something that went overboard! The fact of the matter, you do not treat customers bad PERIOD!!! We are the ones who keep businesses afloat! From one business owner to another, taking a loss for the sake of your business is sometimes the best! Thanks for the last 15 years!!! I WILL...
