Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Fayetteville

Past couple years the food here has hit bottom. We ordered the New York extra large pizza. The price was a little over $16.00

We asked for a fork and paper plate but were told we had to order 2 or more pizzas to get a plastic fork or paper plate. No napkins were available nor offered.

The pizza was cold. Some parts of the pizza were even ice cold. Like the pizza had been frozen but not heated thoroughly. The pizza bread dough was not cooked enough. It was too soft and chewy.

We added mushrooms and black olives which cost $4.00 extra. I had to look for the black olives and mushrooms because they were so tiny. They looked like tiny black olive pieces and tiny mushroom pieces. Not whole slices of black olives and mushrooms as shown in pictures. Not the add ons you’re accustomed to on a pizza.

A couple of years ago I used to brag to family and friends about the pizza here at papa johns on Raeford Road. But the pizza and service has taken a nose dive. I will not recommend this place again.

It’s located on Raeford Road not far from the Harris teeter shopping center. Only about a mile from our neighborhood. But next time we’re choosing Pizza Hut. Eating inside is not available. And it wasn’t handicapped accessible. No handicap parking either. The smoke shop customers take all the parking.

Be prepared for those parking issues and people loitering and smoking in your face outside because there’s a vape shop next to the papa John’s doorway. Their entrance doors are side by side. Pull the door to the left for papa johns, not the right.

After a Cash delivery realizing my sandwich was missing it's Steak a call to the store Was told by manager that it was ODD she kept a eye on her employees.No offer to replace.I offered to send this pic and the sandwich back with the driver not doordash an actual Papa John's delivery driver who was tipped well. Better Ingredients? NO! Better Pizza? NO! // I remember the 90's when Papa Johns Pizza was better than an Italian Restaurants. This pizza is inedible. It is gross and nasty. Dough is raw. Toppings are slimy and gross. Cheese is well... like jelled substance that sits on top. Pizzas are never sliced. They fall apart when you eat them. I know they were taken to court by Pizzza Huttt and they admitted the ingredients are not better. Every year I think I'm going to order a pizza and it taste decent but every time its the same. Just so nasty you can't even eat it. I would rather have eaten Vienna Sausages on breat with ketchup. Words can not describe how gross nasty and inedible this pizza was. The staff is actually very nice but the company is run by a money hungry douche bag that puts all these policies in place to inconvenience the customer so it just seems like the staff are being assholes.
