Las Tortas #2 — Restaurant in Federal Heights

Say this place on a list of best Denver area tortas. So I was in the area and checked it out. Almost the only thing they they do is tortas but there are dozens of options including breakfast ones. I decided to do the Rasa that had chorizo, chicken, and Mexican cheeses. I had them add everything so sour cream and avocado. The place is small with a couple tables and booths. I decided to get it to go and they had it ready quickly. When I got someplace to eat it I found it wrapped really nicely as well as a couple cooked jalapeños. The sandwich was tasty with the chorizo really doing most of the work. It was really good. The jalapeños were really spicy and for once, I couldn’t finish them due to the heat they were packing. Felt like a wimp but when I go again (want to try one of the breakfast ones), I hope my mouth can do better...

It was nice, I do have to say it was very noisy and with the plastic divider I could barely hear the gentleman taking my order. So I showed him on my phone what I wanted and he said that the menu I had downloaded from Google was in fact not the menu to this location. I ended up with something I didn't really care for. I felt rushed and pressured to make a decision so I just picked what I thought might be good. It was ok. But I was disappointed because the item I had initially chosen sounded AMAZING. But they didn't have it or couldn't make it. I will go there again but I will prepare myself with a menu choice and a back up so that this doesn't...

Absolutely recommend this place for Tortas!! I never find where to go eat tortas at, and this place has what you want for sure!! I went two days ago and I just ate my leftover Torta ( I was only able to eat half of mine the day I went because mine was huge!!) and it was just as good! 😋 Also, staff was super super friendly!! We were a big group and we ordered alot of stuff and some of us were picky bit they hot our order perfect!
