I took my sister out to dinner for her Birthday 60th 😄 I had a gift card for 25.00 and a coupon for 10.00 off because we went to a different Applebee's prior to this visit and received the coupon for spending over 40.00 also I received a text message saying pick 6 wings on Monday for free just tell your waitress so I told my waitress prior to ordering and she said no problem give her the coupons at the end of our dinner We ordered the steaks off the 2 dinners for 32.00 and steaks were cold not delicious like other Applebee's and a couple drinks also they didn't offer the 1.00 Zombie Drinks like the other Applebee's did , place was not that busy for it being 5:00 pm when the waitress brought me my bill the wings were on the bill so I asked nicely if you could adjust it, because the wings were free her name was bailey she immediately coped a attitude and said I'm pretty sure you can't use both coupons, I said why didn't you tell me that in the beginning and she said she didn't realize what I was doing so the Manager Karissa came over in a huge huff! Extremely loud and Angry saying you can use one or the other but you're not using both you can either get $3 off or you can get free wings. I said well I'll take the $10 off then she brings me back my bill now adjusted to 32.00 then I showed her my phone because I had a gift card again turned into a complete hot head and started yelling at me right in front of all the customers plus took off with my phone!! I am leaving this review to let potential customers and potential employees know my experience with the Management at Miller Apple L.P.. I worked at Applebee’s for months to help pay for my schooling. Back in March of 2022, I was working a shift and felt weak. Upon leaving I went to the emergency department, and I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. I let the management know about my health problems. Then I turned my focus to my health and treatment. After many rounds of chemotherapy, months in the hospital and a bone marrow transplant in August, things seem to be heading in a good direction. After one of my doctors’ appointments, I thought it would be nice to stop in today October 28th, 2022, because it would be nice to see the team. The service was great, and the food was fine. When the bill arrived, I was told my employee discount couldn’t be applied because I no longer worked there, and this was news to me. I was still in the employee group chat and planning on coming back when my medical team gave me the okay. When I asked to speak to Tammy the manager in charge or Justin the next most senior manager, I was told they were too busy (it was not busy in the dining room but I don’t know what was going on in the back), so I talked to the manager in training. I didn’t have an issue with her as she had nothing to do with the problem and she seemed nice enough. After all the effort I put into my work, I felt insulted. Until this experience, I held both Tammy and Justin with upmost regard and respect. My issue isn’t with the discount but rather how people are treated. After dealing with an illness that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy, it genuinely hurt to be treated that way by people who preached about teamwork and caring. People who I thought cared about me. Read moreThe Applebee's in Fenton in my opinion is a phenomenal place to dine at. The food at this location has been the majority of the time exactly what I wanted and ordered, if anytime there is an issue either in error or preference regarding my order Applebee's is able to correct the issue and help make sure I receive exactly what I was looking for. The service at the Fenton location has been quite appropriate there are times that they are super busy with a mass quantities of customers which can slow down the servers and kitchen.. as for any restaurant, as for the service during this busier hot hour our waiter or waitress made sure to conveniently check in on us regularly to make sure our drinks were replenished as we waited for our meal. As for the kitchen during these busier moments the meal preparation time may take slightly longer but the food has been phenomenal and the entrees are timed correctly so that they are fresh out of oven when sent to the table, anyone that has worked some hours behind an oven understands that certain foods need to be timed out to match timing on the other entrees so that everything going to the table is coming out at the same time. I was also like to accredit the waitress on my last visit, Kelsi C, she has been helping and taking my meal orders off and on for two years now and has always had wonderful customer service. She has been working at this location longer than I've been going and has the expertise to give you a great rememberable experience that we all look for when we head out for dinner with our families. I also like to give a shout out to the managers at the Fenton location they do a wonderful job handling and making sure everyone is happy with their service and orders I have seen Don and Justin two of the managers personally check with me when I had questions regarding an certain food or other items on my order and they have both been happy to help tackle any situation to make my visit a pleasant and wonderful experience.
