Google Review for Baba’s Mediterranean
Baba’s Mediterranean on Amelia Island is an absolute gem! From the team behind Café Karibo and Timoti’s Seafood Shak, this new spot delivers on its promise of fresh, healthy, and flavorful Mediterranean cuisine.
We had the pleasure of trying several dishes, including the Mezza Platter, Falafel, Baba’s Bowl, Shrimp Pita Roll, and Baklava. Every bite was delicious, with vibrant flavors and high-quality ingredients. The falafel was perfectly crispy, the Shrimp Pita Roll was packed with flavor, and the baklava was the perfect sweet treat to end our meal.
Their menu also offers mouthwatering classics like gyros, shawarma, and seasonal specials like the Mediterranean Veggie Stew. If you’re visiting for dinner, don’t miss the Braised Lamb Shank or Roasted Chicken—great options for a heartier meal.
The service was warm and friendly, making the dining experience even better. Baba’s truly has something for everyone, whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or enjoying a full Mediterranean feast.
Highly recommend checking out Baba’s Mediterranean at 11 N 3rd Street in Fernandina Beach, FL. It’s a must-visit for locals and...
Read moreCashier with the blonde hair today had a severe attitude problem. For whatever reason the coke machine is often down. Tried to get coke out of the machine multiple times and just got fizz/foam. Asked for a refund for the drink after I was done eating bc there was a constant line and no opportunity for me to refund before I got my food. Cashier was arguing with me that the coke machine worked now and that I could now get a coke after I was done with my meal. I simply wanted a refund. The cashier was argumentative and then refunded the wrong person after I checked my refund receipt it wasn’t our card number. Someone else had to come out and fix the problem after the original cashier left. The person who helped us afterwards was friendly. Totally ruined our experience today, though and as locals- we will not be back...
Read moreWe waited awhile to try this place after reading initial reviews. Either they have tweaked some of the recipes, or maybe some people just have taste receptors that are different…because this place has some really yummy and flavorful Mediterranean food. The opposite of bland. My husband said his gyro is just as good as the gyro at his favorite Greek restaurant from where we used to live, and he really enjoyed the Baba sauce that comes on it. And their falafel (I got mine with the spicy Baba sauce instead of tahini) is better than any I’ve had before. The people working here are nice, as well. We will certainly be adding this into our regular rotation of restaurants (along with Timoti’s, which I think is owned by the same people and is...
