Like the hammerhead shark it's named after, this beach bar will provide a fiesty atmosphere, a few drinks that bite, and perhaps leave you looking slightly sideways. As you enter, you'll see the bar to your left, multiple billiard tables throughout, and a few games to your far right. There's also an outdoor dining area that I didn't explore much. I stumbled in here with a few friends, both old and new, looking to enjoy a few brews and lose a few rounds of billiards. Mission accomplished. The tables are in good condition, with enough sticks and balls for multiple people to take turns playing (that's what she said). Towards the back you'll see a few more party games, including darts, which is more fun to play when you're plastered since your life is on the line. In between scratching and taking selfies there was buckets of seemingly endless beer to enjoy, mostly the all-american classic, Corona. Some time before we (physically) left there was shots of Jameson and Jager at the bar. Mentally, I had checked out earlier after the fourth bucket of beer. Speaking of which the servers were very attentive and friendly, making sure the well of alcohol did not runneth dry. If you're looking to recover from your hangover, this place is a great option. It'll help you feel like a local... slightly drunk and still can't find your keys.

Great dive atmosphere. Had a great time shooting darts. Only downside was the staff deciding to change classic country music to foul mouth rap for their own listening pleasure and filling the song queue so it couldn't be changed. Weird way to keep folks in the bar, but maybe they really hated country music.

Best bar in Fernandina Beach! The bartender is a sweetheart, and the atmosphere is amazing. I always make time to go down and shoot a few games of pool, sing some karaoke, or dance to the live DJ when I'm in town.

Homey bar for a couple of leftover Thanksgiving peeps to hang out and watch football games.๐Ÿ˜„ ๐Ÿฆƒ Ok, we don't drink, so I just walked in to see if they sold food since it we were pretty hungry and another place accepted our online food order, took our money, and when we went to pick it up,the place was closed for the holiday. ๐Ÿ˜… All the other restaurants and food stores were closed too. (I know, makes sense, because it was Thanksgiving Day.) ๐Ÿฆƒ Anyway, little did we know that Jackie and her steady patrons provide a Thanksgiving dinner ๐Ÿ— for all comers โ€ free, no drink requirements. ๐Ÿฆƒ I don't actually know if they normally serve food, but we appreciated the surprise of a Thanksgiving dinner, ๐Ÿฆƒ We enjoyed the nice patrons and Jackie was wonderful and the music fun. AND the surprise Thanksgiving feast was tasty!! ๐Ÿฆƒ Thank you Hammerhead Beach Bar for taking us in and making our Thanksgiving day so...

My boyfriend and I had a great time at Hammerhead Beach Bar in Fernandina Beach! The vibe was laid-back and cool, with unique decor and great music that added to the fun atmosphere. We enjoyed playing pool, darts, and even a couple of arcade games, which made the experience even more entertaining. The drinks were fantastic, too!

What really set this place apart for me, though, was the incredible customer service. I accidentally left my wallet at the bar and didnโ€™t realize it until I had already left town. The owner went above and beyond, reaching out to me and mailing my wallet back with everything intact. That level of honesty and kindness truly blew me away.

If youโ€™re looking for a spot with good drinks, fun games, and a relaxed, friendly environment, Hammerhead Beach Bar is...
