If I could give less than one star I would. Visiting from out of town and were staying across the street and just wanted to grab something quick to eat. It was 9:45 and since they don't close until 10:30 we decided to go grab DQ to take back to our room. We were tired after a long day of walking so we drove but still made it in under 5 minutes. The speaker wasn't working so there was a sign that said to order at the window and it was taking a long time. (The drive thru has a curb on both sides so we didn't have a choice but to wait until we got to the window because we couldn't go anywhere). At 10:41 we finally made it to the window and the girl opened it and we told what we wanted she said hold on just a second, then another girl came back and told us that since it was after 10:30 the already turned the grill off and they could turn it back on but it would be a little while before anything would be done. I told her that we have been sitting in line since before 10 and so have half of the people behind us she just said she was sorry. That was very poor service and we will not be going back there for the rest of our stay...
Read moreI ordered a bacon dbl cheeseburger which comes with lettuce, tomatoes and onions. I received a dbl burger with bacon and a pinch of lettuce, which appeared to be that of a bagged iceberg salad.🙄Literally could count only 2 squares of chopped lettuce on burger. I received 2 round slices of radish on my burger, as well.🤨As I have food allergies and cannot eat radishes, I had to remove the bacon from my burger!! The bacon is THE BEST PART of the bacon dbl cheeseburger😠I cannot believe they actually put RADISHES on my burger!!!! I WILL NOT venture down Sandler Road to this location again. I can understand running out of lettuce and having to substitute by purchasing more from a grocery store. It would have been better to purchase a few heads of iceberg lettuce & chopping it up or purchase shredded lettuce instead. I've actually been there& done that countless times during my years in food service. This was just evidence that whoever made the decision to dress my burger in that manner does not value the customers of this establishment. Shameful!!!...
Read moreWe live in the area and make frequently trips (probably too many) to DQ in Fernandina Beach. Most of those times, the service is fine (not specifically great but not bad either). Yesterday, Sunday 7/13/25, was a very different experience. We went inside and the young lady taking orders was rude. First, I am not a person that expects too much from customer facing workers. They encounter rude, demeaning customers, especially in a high tourist area like FB. That is not the kind of customer I am or my family. The cashier provided a very poor customer experience after I asked why we couldn't order items that were fried. A simple question that got a rude verbal and body language response. I asked to speak to the manager and all she said was "I'm sorry". I wasn't wanting an apology. I wanted her to address the worker. Instead of coaching her, she told her "Let it roll off your back", demonstrating that I was the problem. I wasn't the problem.
