Place looks like a motel when you first arrive. There were 4 of us on a Girls trip and we wanted to stay in the same room. When my travel agent booked we were told we'd get a room with a pool view and we didn't. Apparently the rooms with the pool view didn't have double beds in them. So we had our "queen" double bed room facing the Hampton Inn. We were told we had the best room for our stay...soooo yeah we arrived and the room was not what we viewed online and the beds were small queen beds and each bed had 3 pillows on them which was an issue seeing there were 4 of us. We called and asked for extra pillows and extra towels and you'll never guess what we received, 2 pillow cases filled with sheets! Sheets! Such an uncomfortable sleep for 2 of us. The door had a screw missing at the top which caused a safety alarm for us. When we asked the maintenence guy he said this was all they had at the moment and he said his door did the same thing. We asked about the vacant rooms can we get 2 pillows from there, he did bring us 2 of them. So that worked out, the walls looked a little stained but the room was cleaned. It was small lol so be aware, we're all friends so we didn't mind sharing a bed but those were just too small lol we were close and they were uncomfortable. We were walking distance from the beach but not as portrayed. They only give you drink tickets per night not for how many people are staying there. For example we checked in on a Thursday and was there until Sunday. We thought since it was 4 of us we'd each have 2 drink tickets but nope I was given 6 tickets. Now had it been 3 of us ok but nob that was confusing. They did keep towels stocked by the pool and hot tub "spa". There was no food served there just a bar and outside patio area. Very quiet stay despite the people we'd seen lol meaning yes there was music and talking if course but it wasn't noise complaint noisy. The customer service from the front desk was pleasant, il give them that. Good place for like 2 people to a room and you want to relax. Do bring lysol wipes and spray because they do wipe the pool chairs, hammocks and seats after each guests use only when pool is closing or before pool opens. Photos include the 2 "pillows" well cases filled with sheets and the hot tub. We really didn't take pictures of the room because we'd stayed better places and was embarrassed. Also be aware of the transportation, get a rental car.

This place is just lipstick on a pig. And a sad old pig at that. This place is not a resort, so don't be fooled by the name. It's just an old Howard Johnson's (or some other long gone motel chain) that's been painted and the rooms slightly updated. There is nothing resort-like or luxurious about this place, so I don't know what my additional $35/day "Resort Fee" is being used for. I'm sure management will say its for the pool/spa, bikes, beach wagons, gym, etc., but lots of hotels offer those amenities and don't charge a separate "fee" for them. I still haven' t figured out the logic behind the total joke of a welcome goody bag I received at check-in. The oversized bag emblazoned with the words "Thank You" contained exactly 1 bottle of water and 1 small (airline size) bag of peanuts for 2 adults! We received exactly 1 room key and a link to download the OpenKey app to access a virtual room key. The app was a PITA to use and my virtual key kept expiring requiring me to request and input a new 8-digit verification code each time. The window of our room was cloudy & filthy and hadn't been cleaned in forever. Our rock-hard king-size bed was literally one step up in comfort from sleeping on a carpeted floor. The A/C in our room was so noisy we literally couldn't hear the TV. The free "full breakfast" was just microwave Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, burritos, make-your-own waffles, cereal, yogurt, bagels, etc. Just lots of unhealthy carb-y stuff. Nothing special or made to order. The coffee was pretty good and the breakfast room attendant was nice and attentive, so they've got that going for them, but overall the whole "resort" just gave off a huge "ick" vibe. We will not be staying here ever again.

Very good quality for the price. You can see that they are in the process of an upgrade, so it will be interesting to see the end result. The room we were in did not have any carpet, which I appreciated- being at the beach it was noticeably cleaner than many hotels I've stayed in. When we had a problem with the room I called the front desk and the problem was resolved within ten minutes. They also had iron and ironing board and laundry service available. They also had plenty of soap and towels and had a placard of expected room cleaning services with the ability to increase the frequency if you wanted to. The complimentary breakfast was good as well. They had a variety of waffle makers, hot and cold cereal, breakfast pastry, fresh fruit and yogurt as well. I was really surprised that the rooms did not have a coffee pot in the room- but they did set up coffee station in the lobby an hour before the breakfast set up. The pool area was clean and well maintained and available for guests only. They also had a hot tub...but we were too busy to partake in. They also had bike rentals, chair and umbrella rentals available for hotel guests. They also gave us drink coupons for the seabreeze lounge which we did take time to visit. It was surprising to see that the lounge had pool tables which the kids were able to take advantage of- the kids had a curfew of 9pm, which was excellent. It gave us an opportunity to have fun with them without interrupting those who were there to get drunk. The parking lot was well lit even at night (see picture). All in all, I would go back again.

I consider myself to be a tough critic when it comes to hotel/motel stays, and I say: it’s def not bad for the money. Me and my husband stayed two nights for what it prob would’ve cost for one night elsewhere, esp this time of year! It’s obviously an older motel that has been renovated at some point. The doors of the rooms are accessible from the outside, which is probably why others emphasized the safety latch on the inside of the room. Ours worked fine, so we felt safe. But, Id say, it’s is definitely important. It is pet-friendly, and I’m allergic to dog dander, but I did not smell of pet odors nor marijuana inside. I sneezed once, but that was it! I love that there’s no carpet, bc it doesn’t smell of mold and musk like regular hotels do to me!! I did smell marijuana outside, at night, but honestly - that’s everywhere we go these days. People just need to learn to be respectful with it and go away from buildings and crowds to smoke whatever they want to smoke, esp for the sake of kids & non-smoking adults. The staff have been very friendly in the office. Not to stereotype, but at times it wasn’t your typical looking office hotel/motel staff, but people are obviously having to work probably second jobs these days bc times are hard (go vote in Nov to change that)! But, it’s impressive to say the least. The man knew what he was doing and moved a long line along rather quickly. Also, he was very apologetic for the wait and authentically nice. Breakfast is fulfilling and it’s clean in there. The super nice man, in there, works hard to please everyone and keeps food and coffee stocked. Breakfast is from 7-11! That’s also a plus!! I’ve never stayed where food is included in the rate and for that long each morning!! My only suggestion with that would be to add maybe cereal, instant grits and/or fruit, maybe some danishes - a change each day would’ve been nice, but there was enough variety to change it up myself. And we did stayed the weekend and there was food… not sure why someone said there wasn’t! It definitely saved us $20-$40 each day, and that is a win! I do agree with the others about the pillows… these are small and had to be doubled for an attempt at comfort. However, the bed is comfortable, the room was clean and cool; and we slept well. I always bring my own fan, but I would def bring my own pillow the next time. And the towels cld be a little softer, but I exchanged towels with cleaning lady and had no trouble. Also, I had no trouble communicating with her. The location is great. It’s within walking distance to the beach (with maybe a wagon), several restaurants and shops. The pizza place on the property has awesome stone fired pizza, wings and calzones! It was the best ever. The sunrise is beautiful and we haven’t paid for parking anywhere so far! I’m not sure about a parking fee here at the motel, but just take it out and add to nightly rate, if needed, and folks won’t complain (maybe). Parking is def not a problem - and it’s the middle of July! Actually, we had no trouble finding a parking place no matter where we went. Maybe that was our luck of the weekend, bc it sure wasn’t finding shark’s teeth! 😂 I guess it would’ve been nice to see a local cop ride through (esp the back), ever so often!! It may deter some of the pot smoking, but I highly doubt it! Though, there are nice picnic tables and a pet liter station out back and most folks seem to do their smoking there too, that was nice! The pool is a nice size and looked refreshing. We didn’t swim in it though. There’s a volley ball net and sand area. There’s a tennis ct and pickle ball area, but we didn’t bring our sports equipment! 🙂 The only other things I’d suggest would be to maybe offer to put folks with animals (and the smokers) at or more near the back- next to the pet liter station & walking area, and those without such on another wing. If I come with my kids, but without my husband, I’d recommend facing the highway, if available. Also, the back walkways (not sure about others), stairwell and outside of blding cld use a good...

This is going to be a long one folks ohhhh so many lies! One of the reviews said the bikes were included in the room rate, nope not true. Charged $20 for something we never used. Rooms were clean only good thing about the hotel. Looks like a Motel 6 and the front desk staff was unbelievable little liars. We came back to the hotel and went into the bar. No one behind bar for at least 15 minutes. Then this bartender (they told me her name was Pauli but it wasn't she had blonde hair then one tells me she was the manager and then the other says she's not sounds like someone throwing someone under the bus) comes out and waits on 4 people before us. We were there first. Then her buddy that was in the back room with her comes out and before waiting on us begins to start chatting her up again. I mentioned it to her if she was ordering drinks the bartender says "no she works here" so what! Don't customers come first?? Then we proceeded to try to get the bartender to explain to us about the happy hour board. What a nightmare. Then she says sorry you don't understand. You don't like it too bad. There went our anger control. Then she proceeds to give us boiled peanuts that were stuck to the shell. I asked her why do they do that she said GOOGLE IT! Really. I'll tell you what happened which is exactly why I asked her they threw not done peanuts with the done peanuts and overcooked the done peanuts which I paid $2.00 for. I asked her to see what she would say. She proceeded to tell me if I didn't like the bar I should go somewhere else (we were staying in the hotel). We then proceeded to have a straight out yelling contest and she embarrassed me in the whole bar and said she was going to call the cops lol go ahead I'll call the cops because you are a LOUSY bartender. She was so worried about the 30 person wedding party coming in our 3 person tab could not compete. Went into the lobby to complain they were like yes I'm on the phone with the supervisor. Terrible. Asked her the name of the bartender maintenance man had to go ask SERIOUSLY you don't know who is in your HOTEL. Nope I was told no one does. Betcha the background checks here are a joke. Well here is the Piece de la Resistance we went to bed and at 2:30 in the morning they are yelling and fighting outside our room about breaking some guys jaw. I understand something like that happened the week before. Great 3 women alone and a fight, cops came and everybody scattered. Would you like to know why this happened? They over serve drunk people. So the guests take the heat. Took 2 hours to go back to sleep. Then when leaving in the morning walked in and spoke to the front desk supervisor she never heard about the altercation or so she says. Then she looked at the cameras and says it wasn't as bad as it was made out to be. WHAT! I didn't know cameras had voice control! This cheap hotel said they had cameras but I saw one. How did they not know about the previous fight or the one that took place the night we were there. I heard they don't treat their people well so I guess you get what you pay for. I think the Manager of the hotels name is Dave. If you see this post please respond. If it's anyone other then the General Manager we do not want to here your sob story for your incompetence that evening. Run people RUN far and fast from this hotel. This is the kind of hotel that knows people will stay there because they are in a tourist area. It should be boycotted. I am over the audacity of arrogant businesses that the dollar means more than the customer. I live in Sarasota/Siesta Key believe me I see it everyday. The residents get pooped on all while gouging the tourist.

One of the reviews also stated a fight and they said they called the front desk and it was taken care of. Our night they didn't. A guest did. I love the "our hotel is NOT A RESORT but resort type amenities". Like I said folks lies all lies. Go have a drink at Sliders if you stay here your...

Me and my family stayed at this hotel back on April 14th throught April 16th, 2023. This hotel was ridiculously nasty with poor customer service. We had went to the beach for a couple hours, my elderly mother decided to stay in the room. Everything seemed to be fine.....until it came time to take my shower from coming back from the beach, you know nothing is like a good shower to rinse all the lotion and sunscreen and sand off from the beach. Well.....I was fine until I saw a big swirl of hair on the shower wall. How disgusting! I was highly disappointed and offended. I paid a total of $470.86 for a 2-night stay at this hotel! Let me say this...I have worked in a hotel before in housekeeping, and I know how hectic and go-go-go it can be trying to get your number of rooms clean for the next guest and before the next check in time, BUT!, I would have NEVER left a room like that! I mean, you could not miss the hair on the shower wall! It was that much hair! When I got to looking further, I realized there was MORE hair! Well, went straight to the front desk to tell them, to which the young girl behind the desk acted like it didn't even phase her that I was so upset about the cleanliness of our room that we paid hard earned money for! Well, the manager wasn't there, so I told her to call whomever was on duty that night. She did, and I had a long conversation with the manager that this kind of negligence was unacceptable! They apologized and said that they would send someone to clean the shower for me. Well, in between all of this, my brother and his family was going to eat supper with us, so they were waiting on us. So , I didn't get to have a shower then. Went on to eat with them anyway. Got back, looked at shower, STILL not cleaned! Well, I went to the front desk again, long story short, we weren't there, so the person couldn't clean the shower. So, then the person proceeds to tell me that there will be someone coming by room to clean shower, yada yada yada, ok. Went back to room and waited. Ya'll, I didn't get to take my shower I think it was around 10 PM that night! So, took my shower, all is good....or so I thought. Well, next morning we were getting ready to check out and my moma was asking about something of hers, had we seen it or whatever, so I tell my husband to look under the bed, it might've rolled under there or whatever. Y'ALL. My husband proceeded to tell me that they must have not cleaned under the bed neither. So, I look under the bed, there was all kinds of trash and stuff under there! Like really? So, I went to front desk, AGAIN, and let them know what was going on. Long story short, they only took like the amenity fees off of my stay. Y'all please ask to look at the room BEFORE YOU PAY FOR IT! I know the housekeepers have their own share of rooms to clean in a select time frame to do it, but no, I mean come on, gotta do better. Y'all just gotta do better. I rate this hotel a 1-star rating, and that's only because it was conveniently located close to where we went on the beach (Ft. Clinch...
