I’ve been coming to this Chili’s for years as it’s the only one left in the area. We had the absolute worst service tonight that I’ve ever experienced here.
When we arrived, we were seated in the bar. There were multiple servers working the section that kept walking by us. We sat at the table for almost 20 minutes before a server finally came to our table. She asked if we were ready to order drinks, and we let her know we wanted to place our entire order. Both of us ordered a three for me combo (drink, salad, entree) and an alcoholic beverage, and then we ordered an app for the table. Our salads came out almost immediately, but it took another twenty minutes before my iced tea and her water came out. Our server apologized and said their drink runner had left for the night. We got our entrees after another 15 minutes, and our server asked if we needed any extra mayo or sauce. We each asked for ranch, and she said she’d be right back. But she never came back to the table. Not only did we not receive the ranch or refills on our drinks, but we never got our appetizer or our alcoholic beverages. We paid our check on the table top kiosk and left.
We’re pretty understanding about issues with service when a restaurant is busy or understaffed, but this was not the case tonight. Multiple servers were working the bar area, and there were only three other tables in there and maybe 2-3 tables in the dining room during the entirety of our visit. The bar was empty during most of our visit. There’s no good reason why we were missing a chunk of our order and received next to no service with that many people working more than an hour before close. The only reason this isn’t a 1 star is that the food we did get was good, and we typically do not have service this poor in the dining room. If I go back any time soon, I’ll definitely be sitting on that side of the restaurant...
Read moreWanted to go out for dinner and drinks with a few friends last night for my 35th birthday. We should've known what kind of night we were in for from the moment we walked in. The young man who was to seat us was CLEARLY under some sort of influence! His speech was beyond slurred where he was so incoherent we had no clue what he was saying. After being seated our server came and promptly took our drink orders. We decided to order the blue margarita that was being advertised where you could add tequila or grand marnier. We told her we would like to add the tequila and she very rudely said "What! What is that!?" Once we explained and showed her the drink menu. She proceeded to say "Well I don't read these menus" which was very strange to us. Our food arrived and I got the Smokehouse combo and had the chicken and brisket quesadillas and the Nashville crispers. Everything was fairly good but those chicken quesadillas were an absolute joke! I showed the server how they were literally like crackers because they were so hard and some literally didn't have ANY chicken in it smh. But instead of apologizing she very rudely said "Well do you want me to make you some more!". I reluctantly said yes. I decided to bring the "new" quesidallas home only to find out they were just as bad if not even worse as the first ones. Needless to say my friends and I won't be returning to this particular location We should've stuck with our first suggestion and went to our usual Chili's...
Read moreFirst time visiting a Chilis in at least ten years. I used to love going to Chili's when I was younger, even worked at one for a bit. My favorite things back then were the ribs and the skillet brownies/blondies they had. They no longer have that Blondie but they did have the ribs ,and they were not like I remember.
The membrane was left on the ribs prior to cooking making it fall off the bone, but stay together with a plastic texture. They were seasoned nicely but the sauce tasted straight out of a bottle and barely sauced on top. I always remember ribs basted on a broiler to give it that grilled taste but these tasted like they were put in an oven or the Salamander. Edible, but far from the best.
The chicken tenders had the hand battered taste I remembered and were delicious.
My wife had the trio fajitas, and they were tasty, though the steak was cut with the grain and over cooked making it tough to eat in a fajita.
Our server was super friendly and remembered most of our order without writing anything down. We did not get the appetizer we ordered but that worked out because we were stuffed when we left.
In all, the experience was pleasant and we will probably be visiting...
