We went to Coconut Kenny's in Ferndale while we were waiting for our truck to get serviced at Les Schwab. The first thing you notice is the fun, surfer, tropical decor which is so inviting! We walked up to the counter and were greeted by the most delightful young man. He was cheerful, welcoming, and let us know what the daily special was as he was handing us a menu. He took our order and directed us to where the soda machine and glasses were. Between customers, he was cleaning tables. The place was spotless. It was refreshing to see everyone working, actually working instead of standing around texting! The food was fantastic! Cheeseballs are addicting little critters and were lacking for nothing; lots of cheese, marinara and minced garlic, not garlic powder. The Drunken Nachos were really good as well. Read moreReally good place to eat. We love Coconut Kenny's! The vibe in this restaurant is fun & can be relaxing. Does remind us of paradise! I asked if they had an extra one and was told NO. Now I understand it’s not the responsibility of the establishment to provide masks to their customers, but I would have appreciated some kindness in their response or maybe even some effort to look for an extra one (which is hard to believe they don’t have) if they really wanted our business! Needless to say we didn’t stay and won’t be going to that...
