Okay, here we go i've been a loyal customer for over 25 years. I live in the neighborhood. Recently there's been a lot of TENSION IN THE PAST YEAR on the WEEKENDS, with the person at the register And taking the to go orders in person and over the phone. There has been times when I have called to place an order. They did not pick up or they put me on hold and never return to answer the phone okay, I'll let this go, but I'm not going into 2025, with the same ATTITUDE and UNPROFESSIONALISM due to lack of TRAINING or PEOPLE SKILLS. At the counter. ⭐️SHELBY on the weekdays is the BEST AND ALSO THE OTHER WAITRESSES never a problem perfect attitude and service⭐️. Mazon EXCUSE ME FOR THE SPELLING. BUT YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. YOU'RE THE ⭐️BEST. I AND MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS HAVE BEEN LIFELONG CUSTOMERS, TO YOUR MARKET ON THE EAST SIDE OF DETROIT.👍 ANYWAY!. EVERYONE as far as (Staff /Waitresses and Host) know me. (Because i'm a regular customer) So getting to the POINT. I ordered the BABY GREEK W/A 4 oz greek dressing. with lemon rice soup or sometime w/ WINGDINGS I also like the Shish kebab dinner and a lot of other items on the menu, but the SALAD and the LEMON SOUP and the WINDINGS are my favorite at all times it's my go to!!! ANYWAY getting to the POINT. I spoke with the owner I have spoken with Shelby, who is a Waitress/Host there at the Register WEEKENDS... to sum this review up, and why it's getting such a LOW SCORE ? You can't give me a couple of packs crackers (In most restaurants, crackers, butter Jam and a piece of bread. It's complimentary in a basket.) or the 4 oz Greek salad dressing. With the Baby Greek i understand it comes with a 3 oz dressing BUT I WAS TOLD TO JUST ORDER THE 4 OZ And everything would be fine with the order, SO ON MANY OCCASIONS, ON THE WEEKENDS the service has been very tense. the weekend person at the register suggest that I pay extra (Ok!) UNDERSTAND me. It's all in your ATTITUDE!!! about the order. ( Oh AND I ALWAYS TIP!)🤑 Read between the lines. WHEN you have a REGULAR CUSTOMER like ME? YOU can give me a 1/2 ounce, more of Greek salad dressing or a couple of crackers, To go with my salad don't advise me,That crackers only come with SOUP!.. AND I CAN'T GIVE YOU ANY BECAUSE IT'LL THROW THE RECORDS OFF!.. (SERIOUSLY!) ANYWAY, I'M FED UP with the WEEKEND COUNTER HELP!.. 👎DISAPPOINTED LONG TIME...

It us always Ms. Monica for me! I overheard a conversation with a lady who complimented Ms. Monica's management skills and attentive customer service. Ms. Monica humbly corrected her stating- that she was not the manager simply hosting. I was floored! The way she has ran that front remembering patrons with special attention to our seasoned neighbors, sees everyone, greets everyone, takes money, securing intentionally before her drawer countdown, or sharing her amazing voice singing a patron "Happy Birthday ". Also, my food is spot on each time. I come often. I even host business lunches occasionally. It always wonderful! My server, Ms. Shannon sweet spirit. Customer service A-1. I took my son here for lunch, we used to come here together pre-pandemic quite often. He got the kid's pancakes and I ordered 2 Coney dogs. The pancakes and bacon were fine, but the Coney dogs were awful. The chili coated the inside of my mouth and I could still taste it an hour later. I ordered two but there away the second one once we got home because I started to have an upset stomach. The table was filthy and the water tasted like the lines needed to be cleaned badly. I think my main issue in leaving this review though is all the fake 5-star reviews appearing on this page. There are people posting about how they went here for their anniversary, reviewers with different names but the same profile picture, recommendations for a seafood tower that doesn't exist, it's wild.
