Satellite Food Truck — Restaurant in Ferndale

We hired Satellite to cater our wedding and we really can’t speak highly enough of the incredible job they did. Throughout the whole process, Mike, Brennan and the rest of the Satellite crew were absolutely wonderful to work with. They helped us put together a custom all-vegetarian menu that was cohesive but varied, and everyone at the wedding loved it. Tons of guests commented on how great the food was, and multiple people told us that it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding. Most of our guests were not vegetarian, and many of them (including my mom, who was skeptical of our “vegetarian wedding”) said that they loved the food and didn’t at all miss having meat. Two months later as we’re finally getting around to writing reviews for our wedding vendors we’re still thinking about the beet hummus, and our friends are still talking about how good the pasta was. Their crew was very professional but easygoing and fun at the same time. Waffle Fries: came in a shape my 4 yr old generally rejects, yet he proceeded to crush. Piri Piri sandwich: saucy bizness that encourages lustful yearnings + slapping slaw = 618k points. Will eat again. Vegan Bahn Mi: rare is the well seasoned vegan protein that emerges from bread smothering. Would eat again. Party Potatoes (modified to avoid dairy): very fleeked. There are many wonderful things to be said about The Boys @ Satellite. Their menu is phenomenal, everything is always fresh and locally sourced, and they have never served me an item I didn’t like.
