I’ve been here several times now, and find that the breakfast is their best feature, though inconsistent. The last couple times egg whites were watery. One measure of a great diner breakfast spot is to keep the coffee coming. Despite the small space, the servers do not check in on their customers and I’ve had to get up to get my coffee refilled several times during one visit, even after asking a server if I can have more coffee. I’ve tried the sliders which are advertised as ‘the best’ but I found them to be like a small cheeseburger size with the typical slider portion of meat, so lots of bread. I recently tried one of their lunch specials, the gyro wraps and the gyro meat looked and tasted like it came frozen out of a box, the onions also appeared to be previously frozen - just not very good. Soda was i and the server just seemed to have a fair of amount of attitude. Having given this place more than a fair 🫨shake, I won’t be going back. But stay tuned for the review of my new go to diner!

I stopped in here after dropping off a friend in the area. Got an Irish omelette and I'll probably get the same again. The corned beef was cooked perfectly, just a little bit chewy exactly the way I like. The Swiss cheese melted into the meat and onions to elevate it even further.
Oh and it was a matter of seconds between putting in my order and getting my food back. These guys can shift. Apparently it's busy as hell in the mornings and I can see why.
Diner Bunn coffee is actually drinkable black, but it's diner coffee you should be adding cream and sugar come on.
I enjoyed my omelette so much I decided to get a Chicago dog. It wasn't authentic, but it was still really good. Obviously there's no Vienna Beef in Michigan, but this was on a Dearborn Frank! You can't do better than that in these parts. Yes I know ketchup is a bit sacreligious, but they get a pass here.
Anyway, easy five stars, I'll be...
Read moreAbsolutely love this little hidden gem on the Ferndale/Hazel Park border! We’ve been to Omega Hawg & Dawg Deli twice now and both times have been fantastic. The cheeseburgers are absolutely mouthwatering—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The fries crispy with just the right amount of seasoning—addictively good!
The vibe is small but mighty, with a welcoming staff that makes you feel right at home. It has this charming old-school 80s diner feel—like The Max from Saved by the Bell, but cozier. There’s never been a wait for a seat, and the outdoor patio is adorable with bright faux flowers that add a playful, inviting touch from the outside. Definitely a go-to spot when you’re craving a great burger and some...
