We love the patio here, and usually the food. Sometimes you can even get lucky and see a water view from your table. But today we were disappointed, the Mahi was over grilled, and dry, the french fries had taken a salt bath, and were just covered. The spinach salad was good but I have had better. Their signature tenderloin was still good, as well as the service, but the patio was in bad shape. The flowers are usually spectacular, and is part of what makes this patio awesome. But today the flowers were burnt up, and had not been tended to for quite sometime, I would have been embarrassed to open an establishment, with the flowers looking so rough. They had tons of dead leaves in the planters, and the sweet potato vines could have been a trip hazard for a person not watching. As they were all over the ground, and should have been trimmed back. I was also shocked at the rusting and peeling paint on the tables next to the front windows. I don't think anyone living, or visiting in that area would have a patio table that looked that bad. It was horrible looking, large chucks of paint curled upward, and should have been removed from the patio until it was sanded and repainted. I am sorry to see this place go downhill in such a great location. Maybe someone who cares about the area, will buy it and give it a face lift. Even the flowers in the parking lot had fallen over onto the sidewalk, and were not being maintained properly. It was just shocking. I hope they get there act together, as fall is coming when the patio's are so much nicer to experience in the...
Read moreWorst owner ever. He literally doesn’t speak English well. It ever ran a restaurant, well bartenders and hosts who have money drawers get a checkout at the end of the night that has your tops and cash received in and out and tells you what your drawer should be. He didn’t understand. Kept telling everyone the drawer should start at $500 and end at $500. I told him that was impossible since you receive payments all day long and you pull your credit card tips at the end of the shift from the cash in the drawer. The computer system already knows what your code edit card tips are since you enter them manually… so not even kind if possible to start and stop with the same amount. Well he thinks women shouldn’t speak or know more than a man. He was a regular before he bought it and the WORST TIPPER. All His rich friends tip great but Oh no not him. He literally tried stealing us bartenders credit Card Tips by trying to make us Leave them in there at end of shift and trying to keep the drawer at $500😂 this man was insane and he fired me right before Christmas with 5 kids a single mom. He knew this. Told me I was unmanageable 😂 no I just don’t let people who are dumb try to steal From me. I was polite when I Tried to show Him how the drawer and computers work together. He kept yelling something in Islam I think it is. So rude. The current one before a father daughter act who we’re both horrible to the staff and literally clueless how to run a successful restaurant....
Read moreFirst time visit & we weren't disappointed. Shane, our server, is not only a credit to his profession but a huge asset to Eddy's. Attentive without hovering. I had the shrimp w/ Old Bay seasoning, with rice & green beans. The shrimp was delicious but the menu didn't specify "shell on" so imagine my surprise when I took a bite & got shell w/my shrimp! The green beans were fresh, garden green beans & very good! I'm not a fan of their rice, tho. Next time I'll choose a different side. My husband had the "Smokehouse" burger. He was impressed the burger was cooked perfectly to his request of medium. It had just the right amount of pork, with the bbq sauce on the side, which he really appreciated. The side of sweet potato fries was very generous! Shane happily made a pot of coffee for him & when Shane noticed I was low on ice tea, he brought another glass, noting " we keep a pitcher of tea for refills but I noticed you use sweetner so I didn't want to mess with you tea to sweetener ratio!" A simple, but much appreciated, & attentive gesture. We had an enjoyable late lunch, early dinner after an appointment in Fishers & we agreed we'll make the trip from Greenwood to...
