Makarios Kitchen — Restaurant in Fitchburg

Mid-battle, stomach growling louder than a rancor, to Makarios Kitchen I journeyed. Saved by the Force, I was! A huge menu, they have — endless, like the sands of Tatooine.

Ordered the falafel sandwich, crispy it was, tucked inside warm pita like a youngling in a snug Jedi robe. Creamy sauce, flowing like wisdom from the Jedi Council, atop it was. Onion rings too I claimed — golden, crunchy circles of destiny! And for a slice of cheese pizza for the ypun Padawan — strong in the light side, melty and mighty (1/4 of the pizza it was).

Fast the service was, faster than a speeder bike through Endor’s forest. Friendly the staff, welcoming even a battle-worn Jedi such as I. Seating? Ah, tight the booths were — more fit for Ewoks than full-grown Jedi Masters. An extra chair, wise it would be to offer.

But strong is Makarios Kitchen with the Force of flavor and variety. Mediterranean feasts, pizza power, sandwiches of greatness — all available for those brave enough to choose! Hungry travelers, wanderers, and even Sith Lords will find their cravings conquered here.

OUTSTANDING! 5-star, I ordered the chicken shawarma plate, chicken wings, salad and rice pudding. All delicious and yummy! The chicken was tender, screamed flavor, and had authentic egyptian flavors. The two sauces, tziki and hot sauce mixed together on top of the dish seals the deal.. and the yellow bazmahti rice with pita, phenominal. The chicken wings were spectacular, crispy and burst with flavor just like I like it. Rice pudding was amazing.. Loved all of it and the portions are fantastic! I will definetly be back and I am happy to have this gem in my neighborhood. Good job, welcome and thank you! I can appreciate good authentic food. I’ve been to makarios kitchen MANY times and it never fails to impress me. Last time I went, I got the lamb shawarma plate, steak and cheese sub, and a pizza. It was so delicious!! I can’t even explain how yummy and amazing it was! When I want something to eat but don’t feel like cooking, this is my GO-TO restaurant!!!! It has amazing food and on top of that you can try something new. My favorite is the Lamb shawarma and the steak and cheese sub. The steak and lamb is PERFECTLY cooked!!! The lamb shawarma also comes with white sauce and if you want a very spicy kick then you can add the hot sauce that is homemade. BE CAREFUL, it’s VERY spicy!!!
