First time walking into Pammy's Place and I had the sense of confusion. The menu is pretty much right in front of you and from the looks of the menu it was pretty sporadic and disorganized. My eyes didn't know where to even look it was so busy.
No greeting no one said welcome! you walk in and cricket's. At first I didn't even know where to order from you had to walk into a side hallway to even see a person which was odd. Usually the cashier is facing the entryway to greet and say hello to guests as they enter.
I saw a written sign for Avocado Toast with Salmon. I ordered that and caramel cold brew. They asked for my name for the order gave them my name and proceeded to sit down.
A bunch of guests walked in after us so we were the first to order. Timing is everything you want to get a drink to the guest under 3min and food under 15min. Since this is a breakfast brunch atmosphere guest come here for a quick intimate bite to eat or a 30 min lunch break so time is everything. We got our order pretty quickly but the rest of the guest waited a little to long for their drinks and food. When guest get their food to late they start to think negatively about their experience.
Presentation was just not it at all. They called the items name and then you say it's yours and they give a brown ugly lunch bag that you used in 1980 for school lunches. It's weird bc they take your name for the order for that exact reason and didn't use it.
My avocado toast with salmon was a little to be desired. It was a soggy bread with no salmon on it. It was sad. Chocolate chip muffin delish. Cold brew was ok.
Summary: I didn't feel anything from my visit that I would be back for a second time. I'll try them again in a month to get my final consensus on this brunch cafe.
I'm planning to do monthly visit to many Fitchburg and Leominster local businesses to see who the best of...
Read moreI've been going to Daily Bagel for most of my life, but I decided that I should probably try out some other local gems. This place was a nice find.
Parking couldn't be any easier. Pull off of Airport Rd and you'll enter strip mall-type row of businesses and parking spots. I went at 7AM and there weren't any other cars around, but it would've been easy to park even if the place was packed.
Entering the business, you'd be surprised by the amount of seating available. The place is nicely decorated with your typical cozy aesthetics of small signs and phrases.
I was pretty overwhelmed by the selection here. After all, most just get a bagel for breakfast right? I ended up grabbing a toasted Everything Bagel with Strawberry Cream Cheese, and a "BBQ Pulled Pork Homies".
The former was for my wife and I can't comment on it. It's a bagel with cream cheese though. You can't mess that up.
The Homie was very heavy for a breakfast lol. A giant thing of home fries topped with BBQ pulled pork, and so so so much cheddar and sour cream. It was very good, but no way I am doing that to my body again.
5/5 for now even though I really didn't try that much, and I'll definitely be back to try a wider...
Read moreThe first time I had a bagel sandwich here it was so delicious. I wrote a 5 star review..however I have had to change it since my allergies continue to be questioned. There's not a single reason why they should be. If I ask for my gluten free sandwich to be cooked separately, I clearly have an allergy. I order the same sandwich... the same way each time I've gone. There's only 1 person there that doesn't question my allergies. I wish I knew her name and could always get her. However, that's not reality. To question a person's "true" allergy is ludicrous. Gluten free food is not flavorful by any means. It tastes like cardboard. I'm not ordering it for fun. But its the only thing I can eat safely. This was... the only place I could get a breakfast sandwich. It's unfortunate that I have to give this place up considering its the only place I can go to.. but asking me if I have "true allergy" is ridiculous. It would make sense if I always said "intolerance " but I have 30+ allergens. I am pretty darn sure I know by now if my...
