I wasn’t sure because we haven’t found great food in the area. Even the highest rated joints and restaurants have fallen short during our vacation in the area. But… my husband and I were blown away with the quality of the food, the menus, the service and the value. Really gourmet flavors, enough food to satisfy our appetite, reasonable wait time and real good value. We highly recommend it. I had blackened chicken, it was cooked to perfection juicy and fresh, not too salty or seasoned, just perfect! My husband had the chicken satay, boy that was amazing! I want to order that next time. The chicken was grilled to perfection, the rice was fluffy and tasty, the side salad was amazing… the peanut sauce is the best we’ve had. For dessert we had the tuxedo bomb.. wow! Great chocolate cake, covered with mouse and covers in a hard shell of chocolate with whipped cream and cherries… wow! Not too sweet, just perfect. They really know about food here… We are coming back here again!! Very very tasty and the people were so attentive… hands down the best food around here.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Break Awayz - this appears to be a “dive bar & grill” from the first look … but it is more. The weather was just right, sunny, low 80’s and an ocean breeze that made the front patio with a view of the ocean, perfect to eat our food and enjoy a couple cold beverages. The wait staff was friendly and timely, engaging us with just enough conversation and enthusiasm for their business to make want more than just a couple beers. We ended up getting some seared tuna tacos, which were flavorful, fresh and done just right! This is a place you’d imagine in an old 1950’s movie (Beach Blanket Bingo or Gidget). Old time charm, excellent service and good food! Very nice experience, keep doing what you’re doing Break Awayz - it’s working for us!

We went to Break Awayz after walking out of another establishment for the odd reception and generally unwelcome feeling. Totally different at BA. Very friendly and nice waitress Nicole came over immediately with menus and asked if we'd like water right away.....which was exactly what we needed. We weren't in the mood for drinks today, so just ordered a chicken burrito. My wife and I both thought it was great tasting. We split it and Nicole was absolutely great with that, brought us a couple of plates. Prices are very very reasonable, burrito was great, and Nicole was outstanding. We will go back. Half of the burrito pictures below.

I will share a true testimonial of the food and service at this establishment. I was first greeted by the bartender. As soon as I walked in I told her that I am a foodie, and I review restaurants as I come from one of the best restaurants in North Central Florida. Along with a long culinary career stretching two decades. I will tell you that this experience was most pleasant. My wine choice was a bartenders pic of their Cabernet Sauvignon, which was very smooth and full-bodied For my first course I chose a house specialty Tuna poke nachos a delicious combination of fresh tuna, seaweed salad, which was joined with a combination of fresh flavors. For the main course I had the Panko encrusted cobia. Served with Thai rice and fresh vegetable for dessert. I had the cheesecake with fresh berries, although the desserts were not homemade, I found them exceptionable The presentation of each of the dishes was on point. I would highly recommend this spot as it is a hidden gem in Flagler Beach. Kudos to the owners who run the establishment very well. The vibe was very cool and I’ll certainly revisit this location again. This would be on my top three restaurants in Flagler Beach to Dine at. In closing, I’d like to give also kudos to the staff as the service from the bartender was on point. She cleared every dish and served every course with fresh silverware. And was very very knowledgeable of the menu and had told me I believe seven years she works at this establishment so with the kitchen putting out that kind of food and the service coming from that young lady it was an...

Only giving it two starts because I enjoyed my meal and my drink... My family; however, had a terrible experience. We arrived around 7pm and ordered our drinks, which came approx 30 min later.... Then we ordered an app (Nachos w/chicken) along with our meals. Just over an hour later our meals come out... No app.. We had to ask for the app and the server brought that out a few min later. The chicken nachos were a joke. The cheese was not melted and chicken tasted like it came from a can. My wife ordered the ceaser salad with grilled chicken. The lettuce was soggy and wilted so she sent it back. She asked for a Margarita flatbread but was told that it would be a while since the kitchen is backed up. So we asked for it to go instead. My 9 year Olds pizza tasted like Elios right out of a microwave, and my other son did not get his entire meal. Finally, our check was dropped off at the table by someone other than our server and the soggy salad we sent back was still on the bill. We eventually got ahold of our server and got it taken off. I am extremely disappointed in my experience here. I've been up and down the A1A in Flagler and have eaten at many places. This was by far my worst experience in Flagler. I wish it would have been a better experience. I was excited to...

Best place to grab a bite in Flagler Beach! From the moment that you arrive at this beachfront restaurant, your dazzled with impeccable service,a great selection of cuisine and beverages, and an atmosphere suitable for locals and visitors alike. The breathtaking view of the Atlantic from the front deck simply sets the stage for a one of a kind dining experience. Our visit was at the suggestion of Mr. James Houlihan, and the arrangements were handled superbly by a Ms. Vanessa Tipton. I can't thank James enough for suggesting such a venue for my company's Christmas party. And Vanessa ensured everything was arranged per our request. The service was amazing, and the food nothing short of spectacular. The right balance of menu options made for easy selections. The full Liquor Bar and variety of local draft beers, coupled with a gigantic selection of bottled beers, made for almost endless options suitable for any palate! I just want to say thank you to the owners, the staff, and everyone involved with making our work Christmas gathering a success. A definite...
