Shoppers here BEWARE!
I was in here yesterday with my sister out for a fun day. We wanted to check out the new store as we are locals. We walked around the whole shop -- super cute stuff inside which makes the rest of the story such a shame.
We came up to the counter, where they have bracelets on this wooden display rack, I asked the associate behind the counter how to get the bracelets off as i was interested in one in the middle, to which he responded just pick up the wooden beam and pick which one I wanted.. 3 bracelets fell to the floor, 1 breaking (it's important to note here that most of the bracelet was still in intact, but it did seperate the string and some beads fell off, so i placed it on the counter and picked up the rest of the beads with a little boy who jumped in to help and the employee tossed it in the trash) I continued to go pay for the bracelet I wanted plus another ring for my daughters. Once the employee says my total, I look at him because the price seems a little high.. he then states he had to charge me for the bracelet, mind you my card is already in the slot. I said really? It was kind of on both of us, and you threw it away? Then I said whatever it's supposed to be "for the turtles" so good cause right? And just tried to shrug it off.. I then hear this same associate offer the person behind me 50% off if they wanted a few more stickers... I left with my items very frazzled as I felt very trapped into paying for the bracelet that the associate had me take off myself and then to throw it away without asking if I even wanted the broken bracelet (my daughters wouldve fixed it). I returned shortly after to return the other two items I got once pondering the situation, realizing I didn't want to support a business like that.. and when I walked in he was with another customer saying he didn't know the price of the item he was currently ringing up and stated "oh let's just call it $7.99, you win that deal".
Once it was my turn I told the associate why i was returning my items, he stated he would return the items but not the broken bracelet... not much I can do about that, but since they are asking for 5 star reviews at the counter, I figured everyone needed to know to make sure an employee takes anything down for you if you do shop here, and maybe don't bring small children here as this shop isn't so forgiving.. but maybe you can get a good discount if they like you? Not sure how they chose who gets charged what but I guess I lost my...
Read moreIn business the point of a sign is to attract customers and advertise the service and experience your customers can expect when doing business with said company. It amazes me when a business goes above and beyond to make me feel like I am not welcome at their store because of my political beliefs just by walking by. The message they were sending is loud and clear. It's so loud in fact that I could hardly find the name of the actual company since their business sign is drowned out by their political signs and flags they littered the front and side of their store with.
It's a shame considering the area is beautiful, mostly quiet, and highly dependent on tourists.
As the owner stated in their reply I am sure 100% of their customers "love what they see". Based on my experience with these "patriots" my review will do nothing but help this "hard working American"....
Read moreWarning... all sales are final, even though they don't tell you that when you make a purchase. I bought a swimsuit cover-up and took it home to try it on because there was no dressing room in the shop. Unfortunately, the cover-up did not fit and so I tried to return it two days later with tags on and a receipt and was told all sales are final. I kindly explained I was never told all sales are final and asked how I was supposed to know that. The gentleman explained it's on the receipt, but the receipt says "ALL SALES ARE" and word final was cut off. Regardless, if you don't have a dressing room, you need to warn people before they buy something that all sales are final at the register or...
