Old Town Bar — Restaurant in Flat Rock

Old Town Bar is 83 years old. It may look a little worn but the service and food are the reason they have been here for so long. You will be treated like an old friend even if it’s your first visit I had the 1/2lb Ground Round Burger with a beer. The burger was cooked to order and the bun was toasted on the grill as well. Condiments are provided. Thanks Juanita. The place may be a “Hole in the wall” to some, but to me it was just plain good. I will be back maybe even for Karaoke Night. Cool little old tavern that has been there since the 1930's. It's small but very old school Tavern. It was probably massive for a tavern 90 years ago. There was only one other patron in the place when I arrived besides the owners so it wasn't crowded. I had the 1/2 Pound ground round Burger medium, with fries and washed it down with 3 MHL's and it cost $11.15!? Are you sure? Yep. The burger was grill fried and for me, fantastic. Nice place. Its old and dated. Nicotine stained ceilings add a classic touch from a long ago era. The owners Walter and Juanita are like forgotten grandparents. Always kind, soft spoken, and glad that you're there. I don't drink, but stop in with my mom for quick bar burgers that are surprisingly good and affordable. I'd recommend this place to anyone. Try it and see for your self....
