I don't come to the flat rock location very often because it's kind of out of my way but I wanted to treat myself this morning to a Tim Hortons drink. This is the second time that this has happened. I decided to take my son to this particular one the other day on Saturday actually. Only because we were in The Flat Rock area. I ordered an iced mocha latte with a shot of raspberry white whipped topping and chocolate drizzle on Saturday. When I received my beverage after everybody was unfriendly, I had all of my syrup at the bottom of my cup and no chocolate drizzle. I said something to somebody and the lady that was at the sandwich station was actually the nicest one to me and she said I'm really sorry they are supposed to Stir It and she made me another one. I was very appreciative. I personally do not like drinking syrup I thanked the lady and I walked out.
I happened to be in the area again today and I ordered the same thing an iced mocha latte with a shot of raspberry white whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. I went through the drive-thru this time because I am in a hurry today.
I received my drink from the same person that served me on Saturday with syrup in the bottom of my cup. I pulled away, I parked, I went inside and a man came to the counter and I said I think you're supposed to stir this. I don't like syrup in the bottom of my cup. he says I don't think that's what that is but I will go ahead and fix it and gave me a big sigh. All the while they were a couple other young ladies that were making mixed drinks and there's were being stirred so I don't know what happened and why but, why is it twice I go there in a few day time span and I have syrup in the bottom of my cup?
When I received my new drink stirred, the words from the young lady behind the counter were... there you go, extra stirred just for you...in a not so very nice tone and without a smile. I've worked in customer service for well over 20 years and I don't care if you or anybody else is having a bad day or you think the customer is wrong you always put a smile on your face and you make sure that your customer leaves your facility happy or you end up with bad reviews because that's what the world is coming to. people thrive on Google reviews and Facebook reviews and Yelp reviews and you, Tim Hortons, in Flat Rock just received a 2-star review. I would give you a one-star but my son enjoyed the sandwich that he received on Saturday, even though it was a little cold because nobody gave it to me. They put it on the counter when four other people were standing there so I didn't know if it was mine. Nor was it in a bag.
So maybe some of your employees at Flat Rock, Tim Hortons should be retrained on how to make their drinks or be a little bit more courteous and put a smile on their face with a bad day or not and make sure that your customers leave your facility happy.
I've never had any problems by going to your competitor Starbucks and receiving a...
Read moreFor this location specifically, as a former employee, I can say first hand that this location treats their employees terribly. The managers are constantly on power trips and treat serving coffee like it's a life or death situation. They priortize speed over accuracy. We aren't supposed to ask it the customer wants a coffee sleeve or napkins because it would take too much time. I also was told on several occasions to just do as I was told. Which resulted in wrong orders being handed out and me being blamed. Even though I was the one saying it wasn't right to begin with. The managers priortize themselves over the crew or the store at all. The speed over accuracy thing is because if they have a faster average time, the managers get bonuses/raises. From what I understood when I asked, those raises don't apply to the general staff only managers. The managers can all call out, be late and take vacations for a week or more as they please but if someone needs to call out for a doctor's appointment it gets denied. Or if you miss a shift because you're in the Emergency Room, you lose your job, even if you have a signed doctor's note. Unprofessional and hostile work...
Read moreDon't ever go to the Tim Hortons in Flat Rock. My niece went in to order. I usually get a Chai Latte but I was thirsty and didn't want to wait for it to cool down. My niece called me and I asked what sodas did they have. She said it looked like they had root beer and sprite and an orange soda. Wrong! None of those were available. Ok, what about Coke? Only had Diet Coke. That's a no-go. Said to get a sweet tea. They also didn't have the salted caramel cookies! They did have the apple fritter so we got that. When my niece came out with our order we tried our drinks. My tea was strong and bitter and wasn't sweet at all. We even tried putting like 9 packets of sugar in it but it still tasted bad. They didn't have the Matcha Tea my niece wanted so she got an Iced Chai Latte. She tried it then had me try it. It tasted like water. She took the drinks back in. She got me a strawberry watermelon drink that was ok. It kept getting more sour as I drank it, though. They really did a lot of pumps in her Chai this time and it was actually very good. We will never go back to this Tim Hortons. The one in Monroe on Telegraph is so much better. We want to try the one on...
