Went through the drive thru, ordered 4 CHICKEN LITTLES. One of the sandwiches was actually cold to the touch, like it had been taken out of a refrigerator or had been sitting on the counter for awhile, and was slimy with mayonnaise. The other sandwiches were just lukewarm. I am really glad that I checked the bag before we left the parking lot. I took them back in to the restaurant, and the cashier said it would be another several minutes to get fresh sandwiches because they had to cook more chicken.
Since we had already waited a considerable amount of time in the drive thru lane, I just opted for a refund since I didn't have any more time to spare. There's lots of restaurants around, I won't be going back there.
Update: Still have not been back even though I drive past this location often. I am putting my fast food dollars elsewhere, there are many choices for places to eat. It may have only been 4 chicken littles that time, but I expect this store has missed out on hundreds (maybe thousands) of my fast food dollars since I experienced such bad customer...
Read moreI had one of the worse fast food experiences at this Flat Rock KFC a few weeks ago. I ordered a 12-piece hot wing with fries and a drink. I was told that they only had 11 wings, but would complete the order with a tender. That should have been a red flag. I returned to work 3 miles away and bit into a wing and it was obviously not fresh and had been sitting. The wings tasted terrible. I returned to the drive-thru about 15 min later and explained that the wings were not fresh. The two women at the speaker were very rude and defensive and began arguing with me, stating that the wings were fresh and had come out two minutes ago. How when I drove 3 miles to work and then back here? They did not give me an opportunity to explain that I had been gone for 15 minutes. They never offered to remake the food, but gave me a refund. I complained to corporate, but never received any follow up. Terrible customer service. Not sure why I was treated this way, but I sure hope nobody else gets treated like this. Read moreI just placed an order at the Flat Rock KFC store tonight. I ordered a basic two piece meal and dessert. The drive thru window forgot some of my order. I called the store and told them what had happened. I told the female manager there that I wasn't "looking for anything" and I just wanted them to be careful with orders because people pay for their food and often don't get it. It is important since fast food stores are very inaccurate with orders. I told her that all I wanted was for them to "Do their jobs". She became angry and said that "We are doing our jobs!" These kids these days are lazy and can't take any criticism. I LOST MONEY HERE! All I wanted was for her to tell the crew to take an extra moment to get it right.
