honestly, I hate to be this person, but I had an awful experience today. I ordered for my lunch break at work through tropical smoothie’s app, paid $20.60 for the smoothie and salad. As the driver was on his way, he texted my cell phone notifying me that he will not drop the food off inside the building and left it on the ground outside even though I asked for it to be handed to me. I then proceeded to open the bag on my break to find the smoothie almost spilled all over my food, and the smoothie was completely warm and soupy. Tasted like it was left out for hours. Additionally, my salad had cheese on it that I specifically ordered without due to an allergy. My food was inedible, as was the smoothie. The store said that DoorDash is responsible even though I ordered from the tropical smoothie app, which has made it impossible to get a refund. Normally I would let it go, but I paid over an hour’s worth of work for this meal, just for rude service and inedible food, AND still no refund or apology. I ordered 4 Flatbread combination and my total was $28.80. I paid over the phone. I am full-time Army and had a very long day/year. When I arrived I noticed my order was not ready. I was then informed that it is only one order per coupon and I was charged an additional $15.00 for my order. The "Manager said it stats one per on the coupon and that is how she always did it" I handed her the coupon 1155 and showed her it was not on the coupon. I refused to pay the additional money and was told I couldn't get a refund of the money already paid. I politely asked her if I could get sea salt and vinegar chips instead of the plain. As she walked away I kind of felt an attitude from her as she walked to go get my chips.
