I went here the other day for lunch with my coworkers. 4 out of 5 of us had our orders wrong. We all spent $20+ on ourselves. The girl behind the counter apologized and explained that she was new. She said she read out our orders and we all agreed to what she read out. Our tickets on our bags were correct, but she bagged everyone's order incorrectly. She gave one of my coworkers orders, out the drive through window & gave me the complete opposite of what I ordered. I brought my order back in and I was told that they didn't have what they needed to make my sub, I get it, it happens...but I was stuck with someone else's sub that I didn't want & was never offered to have them make something else for me. They gave me an extra egg roll to compensate the almost $10 sub I paid for. I didn't really feel like that was an even trade off. I understand being new but making someone keep an order that they didn't pay for isn't great customer service. I was super excited to try their food & would've even gone back, despite my order being wrong. But the fact that I paid $20, just to get someone else's order & not have a choice in getting my order corrected, doesn't sit well with me. Never experienced anything like...
Read moreHi, I’m a food critic on YouTube, Tiktok, etc. I have 500k on YouTube and 320k on TikTok. So I was visiting family in Flint, Michigan, and came across V’s Drive-Thru. First, I want to say the menu is crazy in a good way, with so many things to choose from, but now let's talk about the food. I ordered their Crispy Chicken Sandwich, BBQ Wing Dings, and French fries. So the chicken sandwich is very crispy, and the chicken itself has so much flavor that it’s impeccable. The bread was so soft as well. Personally, the wings were not my favorite. I feel like the wings could’ve been cooked longer; they weren’t crispy at all. The French fries were very good, crispy but not too crispy; they were cooked to perfection. One more thing: the customer service was great. So overall, I’ll give this place an 8.6 out of 10, with 10 being the best and 1 being the worst. I will definitely be eating there when I visit again.
Sincerely,...
Read moreThe food at V’s is decent, but the prices they end up charging you sometimes are higher than what is advertised. For instance, a 10 piece boneless wing is $9.99 on the menu. If you make it a combo it’s supposed to be an additional $3.99. This is all I ordered this particular time. At the speaker, I was given a total of $15 something. At the window, I was given a total of $16 something. When I asked about the change in the price I was given, I was told that there is a $1 credit card fee, which I was fine with. When I got home, I realized they charged $17 to my card. Even with tax and a credit card fee, $17 for a $14 meal doesn’t make sense. The receipt they gave me lists the food I ordered, but not the price for each line item so I have no idea how they’re doing their math over there. I don’t mind paying for good food, but nobody likes sneaky...
