White Castle — Restaurant in Flint Charter Township

This was my first time going to White Castle. I am from down south and familiar with Krystal so I knew kind of what to expect from the food. I stopped by on a road trip because I had heard that White Castle offers an Impossible Slider. Being a vegetarian I try to support all restaurants that cater to my dietary choice. So I went in and ordered 4 Impossible Sliders with cheese. The lady that took my order then asked me if I wanted cheese on them and I answered that I did (for the second time). There was no one in the store other than me and the drive thru was a ghost town. Even being the only customer my order still took over 10 minutes. I patiently waited and just assumed that maybe they needed to cook it fresh because they don't get many orders for Impossible Sliders. After 10 minutes I get my order, head out to the car to eat it and find that they forgot the cheese on every one of the sliders. The sliders were good, exactly what I expected. We went here July 26, 2020 at 1250 PM (lunch time) after craving some impossible sliders. The staff is extremely nice and helpful.

If you are considering eating here for lunch. Call in or order online. We experienced a wait of 30 minutes. Which isn't a problem as everything was made fresh.

As a tip, please be sure to check or review your order before leaving. As you may experience your order missing an item. It looks as though the staff working was short staffed at the time of this review.

When we brought it to their attention they apologized and corrected the order.

Note: If you're a fan of the impossible slider. The new version of the patty doesn't taste the same. It's a bit drier.

Odd occurrence with my order: told they were out of everything sauce and only had ketchup, but my sliders were mostly mustard with little or no ketchup. Pickles weren't on all the sliders as requested. They sliders were messy and I believe deliberately so, slapped together with onions and sauce on the outside and inside so every slider dripped and dropped onions as well as making your hands messy. No napkins were provided either. Not all the cardboard sleeves were closed fully, some sliders were on their side and some packed into the bag correctly on the buns. The sliders were warm at least. It's difficult to not conclude that the staff doesn't care and thinks sloppy, messy food is some sort of cruel joke on the customer. It's also a reason to go elsewhere for better value...
