I’ve had my fair share of pizza nights, but my recent experience with Domino’s left me with mixed feelings. Last week, I ordered a pizza, but when I arrived home, it was completely wrong. I tried calling the store over 10 times but received no response. Frustrated, I decided to drive to the store myself. Upon showing the manager my pizza and receipt, he apologized for the mistake and assured me that they’d be doing some staff training to avoid future issues. He also offered to fix my pizza immediately and gave me a credit for future orders and apologized for the inconvenience. The manager encouraged me to call or come in to claim it.
When I called today to retrieve the credit, I was told the employee handling my request was new and didn’t know how to look it up. After being told there would be a two-hour wait, I asked if the credit was even showing up, and he admitted he didn’t know. When I asked to speak to a manager, the manager (Blake)response I received was, “I don’t see it, but you need to be more understanding. I’m the only one here.” The tone was far from helpful, and his dismissive attitude was disappointing. He told me only way to tell if I had a credit was he would need to reach out to all managers and inquire about the credit and he didn’t have time because he was by himself.
As someone with over 30 years of experience in customer service and management, I know how stressful things can get, but I also know that a good manager should always prioritize customer satisfaction and handle frustrations with patience. Blake, if you are indeed the manager, I encourage you to remember that a little kindness and understanding can go a long way. Everyone has tough days, but that doesn’t excuse a lack of courtesy.
In the future, I hope to see improvements in both the food quality and the customer service at this location. Customer service is not just about resolving issues, it’s about how you make your customers feel throughout...
Read moreI had a good review for this place until I placed 2 orders, and 40+ dollars online went picked up in store. Came home, and simple one of the pizzas didn't have a topping on the pizza we had ordered. It even shows the missing topping on receipt so we tried calling 4 times letting it ring until it wouldn't ring anymore with NO ANSWER!! So we decided to go ahead and eat being pretty hungry and getting cold and all and call early next day (today) about the mistake and that I was charged for to be told" yeah they didn't answer the phone because of how busy they were" and but since we didn't have the pizza from night before still they wouldn't or couldn't do anything about it....um why couldn't my account be credited the topping I was charged for and didn't get? Why wasn't I offered a complementary pizza for them not answering the phone so the problem could have been taken care of at the same time?? If this is how this establishment takes care of it's customers who have ordered and spent a decent amount of money here, they have certainly lost a good one. I truly hope the owner, district manager and the owner of domino's name fixes this problem at the location with whatever is the policy of keeping a pizza the next day after none of the employees would answer the phone. They were very rude and unprofessional about fixing a simple problem. So if you do decide to order here definitely make sure you check your food before leaving the establishment so you won't run into this problem and hassle. Order...
Read moreI showed up on a Monday night to pickup my carry out order (ordered online). The store was in chaos. I paid for my order then waited silently for it to get ready. As I sat there the lobby began to fill up with customers because no employee was taking lobby orders, just walking around occasionally staring at us. After 10 minutes I witnessed one of my pizzas (our family is pretty particular) come out of the oven. The oven tender, an older white man, thin with graying hair exclaimed: "What is this? I don't even have a box for this!" I leaned into the open doorway of the kitchen area and said: "Sir, I think that's one of my pizzas." To which he replied: "Who is this a**hole walking into our kitchen?" Then completely ignored what I had said. After 10 more minutes of explaining to every employee I could that my pizzas were ready, just sitting there unlabeled, one FINALLY stopped to finish my order. They still had to make the last item. All said I was in that store for over 40 minutes and I had arrived exactly when I was supposed to (giving them plenty of time before I showed up.)
The gray haired man continued cussing and slamming things through the rush. No one in the lobby should have been made to hear that. Had that man just listened to me I would have been out of there after just 20 minutes. I will never order from this establishment again. Anyone who keeps employees with that demeanor needs to...
