Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Florence

A friend and I arrived there we waited several minutes before we sitted ourselves. When the waitress came to get our order she was rushing us to order and when we decided to order, she left us because she said she had other orders to take at the bar! We ordered our second margarita without ice, she only gave us a full glass of juice. I returned it stating I didn't want it, she took the juice back and said ok! She didn't ask if I wanted anything else to drink to satisfy me. She was huddled up in their corner with two other waitresses and manager, probably explaining what happened but the manager didn't come an talk to me until about 30 or 40 minutes later asking is everything ok. At this point I don't have words for him or the waitress, my friend basically talk to them, I didn't even give eye contact because I was very dissatisfied. I seen her rush to the front to seat other customers and she accommodated the men at the bar instead of coming and checking on us as if we didn't need anything! I would never ever go to this place again because I felt they were rude and wasn't concern for our needs but for everyone else's needs that came after we arrived there! I wouldn't go there before 4 p.m. because the service and people that work there have no type of etiquette when it comes to serving in a restaurant! Applebee's has been a staple of the family dining scene for years for good reason. They offer well prepared food, at all their locations, consistently. I had the brisket tacos, which were great. The meat was slow cooked to BBQ smokehouse standards and the condiments were unique and well put together. In my opinion you can't ever be truly disappointed choosing Applebee's. My wife had her long time favorite, the southwestern chicken wrap, which she gets EVERY TIME we go to Applebees. Even though I'm a "try something different" guy for all my culinary expeditions. There is something to be said for the consistency with which Applebee's has produced that wrap for the 15+ years that she's been offering it. That's the thing, Applebee's is dependable. If you're in an unfamiliar location, and you doubt the local options you find, you know that an Applebee's will provide a good meal and a satisfying experience. I don't give them five stars because I think they need to redefine their ambiance. The local bar and grill was a popular theme 20 years ago. In my opinion, they should embrace the micro brew movement and sidle into a brew pub type atmosphere. We were here from out of town we thought it would be a nice treat for the family to come as it had been awhile. We arrived at 630 pm and had a party of 10. We were sat down in an area and greeted by a nice young waitress who took our drink order and left after 20 mins or so we got drinks and were able to place our orders which consisted of all of us ordering $15 all you can eat meals mostly boneless wings after nearly an additional hour of wait I asked another waitress to check on our food at which she showed up with our food as it was all cold. I decided to talk to the manager Tyler and explained to him the issue which he tried to fix and bring us another order of each of our wings and burger and that took nearly 20 more minutes also 2 people in our party didn't receive there food till everyone else had gotten there food. Manager Tyler offered us an $8 dollar discount for our troubles which is nice and all but considering the wait and the food itself was an insult. Manager Tyler then tried to offer a free appetizer for us for another time which I declined and left. It was a waste of time and I would not recommend this Applebee's to anyone in the area just don't go I will be passing this on to all of the other teams we are playing with...
