Don't trust anyone that claims there with Wyndham suites. Both times we have stayed at Wyndham hotels we have not received what we were supposed to receive. The first time in their garage where we parked under a light right near the door, our vehicle had three busted out windows. Most of our stuff was stolen out of our vehicle. And that was the worst first time experience and that hotel also had filthy carpet the whole place stunk and I swear at that time I'd never go back to a Wyndham Hotel. Then the next time was this last time even though I said I would not go back. I had to go back because I couldn't find any other place that was available anywhere near with where I was at. This Windham sweets sucked just as bad and they clearly told me before I reserve the room that it had a wheelchair accessible shower and a wheelchair acceptable room. When I got there the room would not even allow my daughter to get into the room in a wheelchair. Let alone in a bathtub shower combo. What do they think a wheelchair-bound person can do sprout wings and fly into the shower. And then I called the manager he claimed they didn't have any rooms other than the bathtub shower combos and yes they were wheelchair accessible. I think they need to educate themselves that is not a wheelchair accessible room at all. But the man did call his manager come to find out they had one of those rooms next door to that very room. Oh I'm assuming the manager didn't know this since he told me they absolutely did not have these rooms available. But the shower had holes in the bottom of it from another wheelchair that had rolled into it. So therefore they didn't even install the shower properly or it would not have had that problem. And she was able to get around in this room. The TV remote did not work right so I changed the batteries in it. Still didn't work right so therefore I'm assuming it was the TV that wasn't actually working right. And the manager didn't hardly speak English therefore that was a problem. I am not a prejudice person but I do live in the United States and therefore I speak English which is an English-speaking country so I suggest that every single person learn English if they plan to live in the...
Read moreThere were some great points and some really bad problems. First, I am a choice hotels member and usually prefer their properties. That said, we chose this property because we specifically wanted adjoining rooms for a family visit. We spent more than the cost of comparable hotels in the area in order to get adjoining rooms. It's a good thing we had two rooms, because the sink in the king room was unusable for some of our party because of its height (see pics). Additionally, there was no closet or hanging space in the king room. There was no ironing board, and the fridge in the king room had no freezer space. On the other hand, the breakfast held some pleasant surprises. First, the juice was not at all watery. It was actually quite strong! The sausages and waffles hit the spot. Unfortunately, the only yogurt offered was nonfat, so it contained sweeteners that I'm allergic to. :-( also, I've given up on finding decaf coffee in the south. There were no flavored creamers at all, but there was hot water available, so I could use my French press each morning. No microwave in the breakfast room meant we had to eat the sweetened pastries cold. Ah well. :-) Many times, we left our room to find employees sitting on the walkways smoking or chatting with one another, and it wasn't clear why they were there. There were piles of trash bags, or empty boxes, etc, on many walkways from time to time. Overall, we appreciated having a convenient place to stay for four days while attending our son's wedding. Alex, especially, was very accommodating in helping us get keys to additional guests when they checked in while...
Read moreWas in a great location, close to everything, probably the reason this place stays in business. It's not worthy of being labeled a Wyndham property. When I got there. There was a super sketchy guy just sitting in a desk chair in front of a room. I checked in the attendant was nice but i was required to go get my tag number from my vehicle to write down. When i first got into my room, the night stand was sticky and had cup rings on it where drinks from a previous guest had sat. Obviously this had not been cleaned. I found tobacco pieces from a blunt shell (obviously) all over a chair. How does housekeeping not notice this? I found several hairs on towels, washcloths and bed sheets. Something bit me during the night. I woke up with 3 unidentified bug bites this morning. The air conditioning was very cold, which was nice, but also very loud. Thankfully it didnt keep me awake all night. The pool was old but clean, the bed was actually very comfortable. Best thing I can say about the place. Back to housekeeping, I had one of the staff knocking on my door at 8am. I didn't answer, so she let herself in. Are you kidding me? That was a complete invasion of privacy. Check out is at 11am. It was 8am. I didn't try or even see the breakfast. I just wanted to get the hell out of there at that point. A refund would be appreciated but I'm sure that won't happen. I would not stay here again ever nor do I recommend anyone to. Find a place that's $20 more I'm sure it will be well worth it. This dump was almost $100...
